Fair waitress, we didn’t know the set we ordered includes a beer so we ordered another one, saying that we will share a beer. And the waiter only gave us one beer which is what we originally wanted and charged us the price difference between the included one and the one we ordered.

Sin duda repetiría. Restaurante idóneo y de confianza para comer un plato típico de bruselas como el stoemp. (Como otros tantos que tienen en la carta.) Considerable ración por un precio acorde. Servicio y ambiente muy buenos. ¡Recomendado!

We visited for dinner on 1 June based purely on Google and TripAdvisor reviewsThe restaurant is huge with many seating areas. We were seated quite close to the kitchen and server station which was quite noisy.My wife and I had mussels dishes and my daughter had the seafood pasta. The food was really good and well prepared.The staff was friendly and service was efficient.

Decided to stop by to try one of Belgium’s national dishes, mussels. Walked in with no reservation. This restaurant is huge, so if there is a line, it will be quick. The mussels were fresh and fries were crispy. Staff were friendly and attentive.

The vibrant atmosphere of this restaurant makes reminds me of the city vibe. The hustle and bustle of the waiters, the good mood, the clatter of cutlery all have their charm. If you want a quiet place to eat, this is not the place. But if you are looking for a place with tasty and fresh traditional food, this is the place. Complet Leon, Demi poulet salad and lapin a la kriek were our choices. We were lucky to find a free table for dinner without a reservation, but I wouldn't try my luck a second time.

My wife and I recently visited Chez Léon in Brussels and had a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, which made it a nice place to enjoy our meal. Huh? I was worried because I heard there was racism, but there really wasn't any, and they are so kind........ When eating, they asked if there was anything inconvenient, and when I looked like I needed a plate and ketchup, they brought it to me without me asking, and told me that it would be more comfortable if I ate like this... Everyone really thought of me as a daughter🥹 I heard that Belgium has a lot of racism, but the food here is delicious and the atmosphere is great🫶🏻 I want to bring my family next time!!!!!

Quand j'ai envie de moules-frites, même si c'est touristique, ça reste efficace ! Les moules sont généreusement servies, et les frites sont bien croustillantes, comme il faut pour saucer la sauce des moules.

Average touristy restaurant, food is OK enough but very expensive for what it was. More authentic restaurants in the city are not open until 6pm for dinner, and I had to rush for the Eurostar. Better attention to detail needed, had to ask for some crusty bread and water, this is fairly standard stuff on the continent! Had to use my phone data to get an English menu translation.

The restaurant is nice, however the staff is very busy. Please be aware that sitting on the 1st floor there is no air condutioning. I would stringly advise to book the table. We had a very good servicer- Tim from New Zealand, I would highly recommend him to have a table at his correr- very polite, quick to action, responsable and does a job very good.

Fantastyczne miejsce. Pełne klimatu, tradycji i przede wszystkim smaków. Mule, gulasz, piwo, wino po prostu obłędne. Przesympatyczni kelnerzy i bardzo dużo miejsca nawet dla dużych grup. Usytuowane w pieknej części Brukseli. Warte kazdych pieniędzy. Serdecznie polecam !!!

J’ai été chez Léon, une première fois avec une amie. Le repas était très bon par contre le service assez expéditif. Le serveur venait pour reprendre nos plats même lorsque ceux ci n’étaient pas totalement terminés à vu d’œil et sans nous demander si nous avions terminés. J’ai eu le même coup en revenant avec un groupe d’amies une deuxième fois. Serveur expéditif. Ca ne me donne pas envie de revenir. Dommage car la nourriture était bonne.

Un lugar agradable, con comida rica. Para cuatro comensales elegimos:- Pasta León- Mejillones gratinados al ajillo y- Steak,todos ellos muy recomendables. Las patatas que acompañan los platos principales tienen el sabor típico de la fritura en grasa animal.Para beber, recomendable probar la cerveza LA LEÓN, un buen acompañamiento para comidas, una cerveza suave, propia del restaurante.Un trato atento y profesional por parte del personal.Precio aproximado por persona 30€.Muy recomendable

A great place with great simple food and super service. The only gripe is that their salads have quite a lot of dressing applied and with hindsight, it'd be better to have on the side. I'd recommend eating here

Rezervasyon yaptırmadan “hadi gidip şansımızı deneyelim” dedik ve iyi ki de öyle yapmışız :) Yemekler gerçekten çok lezzetliydi. Midyeler, beyaz şarap ve özel bir sosla hazırlanıyor; enfesti. "Karbonade" adlı et yemeği de çok lezzetliydi. Fiyatlar oldukça uygun, ortam da çok keyifliydi. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!

Kalabalık bir yer, atmosfer fena değil. Çalışanlar da koşuşturuyor, fazla kalabalık, fazla gürültülüydü. Ama herkes kibar kimse kimseyi uyarmıyordu. Sınırlı bir bütçe ile gidenlere Leon Moule & frites yemeklerini tavsiye ederim. 20 euro civarı fiyat. Hem fiyat oldukça uygun hem de lezzeti fena değil. Ama menuleri oldukça zengin. Brüksel de Gidilebilir mekanlardan. Ama öyle ahım şahım bir yer de değil.

On s’est régalé, nous avons pris des moules et salade, nous avons été servi par Brahim qui a été d’une gentillesse inégalable et qui a su nous conseiller au mieux et nous accueillir dans l’établissement comme des rois. Le repas était donc non seulement savoureux mais en plus une superbe expérience. Un endroit à ne pas rater lorsqu’on se promène dans les ruelles du centre ville.

Ik kwam hier vast al 20 keer, bij Léon, in de Beenhouwersstraat. Ofwel: in hartje Brussel, dat voor mij altijd als op reis zijn aanvoelt. Frequent nuttig ik hier met vrienden op zaterdag in de late middag twee garnaalkroketjes en een rum-cola zero – en frequenter nog omgekeerde aantallen. Om vervolgens later op de dag elders voor echt te gaan eten. Een steak-friet daarentegen at ik bij Léon dus nog nooit. Toen echter bleek dat men hier onder de 20 euro zat voor het gerecht der gerechten, maakte mijn hart een sprong. En alvorens het terug geland was op mijn diafragma, zat ik al op de trein richting Brussel Centraal.Chez Léon is één van de weinige zaken in deze buurt, samen met Aux Armes de Bruxelles, die zich niet (louter) op toeristen richten, maar ook veel vaste klandizie kennen. En bij Léon kan er wat klandizie binnen. Altijd veel volk en toch altijd veel plaats! En alle dagen open, nooit gesloten! De zaak ademt traditie. Met zwierige obers in klassieke pakken – wij proberen altijd te manoeuvreren tot we door de grootste bon vivant onder hen bediend worden. En met gouden plaatjes tegen de muur die herinneren aan roemrijke bezoekers. Zoals Koning Filip!Enfin, in die steak-friet van 19,75 euro zit dus heel veel ambiance inbegrepen. Verder is de steak gewoon goed. Met aan de pluszijde een goede grillsmaak. En aan de minzijde een bite die qua droogte weliswaar niet doet denken aan de Atacama-woestijn maar in Wādī Ḥalfā, de op enkel na droogste plek ter wereld, toch redelijk goed zou blenden. Ook qua groenten is het gerecht wel erg basis. De frieten daarentegen die zijn elke calorie waard. Godgans goed! Bij de beste dikke frieten in ons land. Logisch, want de hoofdzaak hier. Lekkere mayonaise is evident inbegrepen.“Als je Brussel wilt zien leven, hoef je niet veel geld uit te geven.” Zo bezong Johan Verminnen in 1989 de Beenhouwersstraat in Brussel. Comida deliciosa. Pedimos el conejo, el estofado y los volovanes y de verdad estuvo espectacular. El mesero era servicial sin embargo, no hablaba mucho inglés ni español por lo que fue un poco difícil comunicarnos. El ambiente del lugar es muy lindo, pero nos asignaron la mesa a la entrada de la cocina y la verdad es bastante ruidosa y estresante, prefieran mejor en otro de los salones del restaurante si pueden.

在比利時住了25年的阿姨帶我們全家來吃，淡菜很新鮮，口感柔軟多汁，總共點了5種不同口味的淡菜鍋+啤酒，非常滿足好吃！！😋人員服務很好，巡桌很頻繁，讓客人感覺舒適。餐廳內的擺設也很用心很特別，餐後還拍了很多照片才離開😍另外還有QRcode提供多國語言菜單，真的很貼心😘是很棒的餐廳！價格也很合理！值得推薦

点餐的时候，选了牛排但是店员没有询问顾客要几分熟点牛排，也没有提及关于这方面的问题，以至于牛排只有表皮一层是熟的里面都是生的 不过也能接受生一些的所以还是吃掉了甜点选了奶油华夫饼，在所有菜都吃完后才发现没有上甜点所以向店员询问，结果店员甚至忘记了这件事，拿来菜单让再点一份？最后在得知已经点过华夫饼后，我们又干坐着快半个小时甚至没看到华夫饼的影子真的很气！

Restaurante muito bem situado no centro, junto ao famoso bar Delirium. Serviço rápido e de qualidade, com ementa diversificada, comida típica belga e opções vegan. Provamos os carbonnades flamande à la bière, a formule léon 500gr e beurre à l'ail gratinées e estavam excecionais, motivo pelo qual repetimos a ida ao restaurente. É um restaurante antigo com tradição familiar ao longo das gerações e com decoração icónica da cidade.

Great atmosphere and location. Large restaurant with a lot of room. The mussels were delicious. French onion soup was mediocre at best. They could have a better selection of beer on tap. Otherwise a good experience and I'd recommend it.

The vibrant atmosphere of this restaurant makes reminds me of the city vibe. The hustle and bustle of the waiters, the good mood, the clatter of cutlery all have their charm. If you want a quiet place to eat, this is not the place. But if you are looking for a place with tasty and fresh traditional food, this is the place. Complet Leon, Demi poulet salad and lapin a la kriek were our choices. We were lucky to find a free table for dinner without a reservation, but I wouldn't try my luck a second time.

My wife and I recently visited Chez Léon in Brussels and had a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, which made it a nice place to enjoy our meal. Huh? I was worried because I heard there was racism, but there really wasn't any, and they are so kind........ When eating, they asked if there was anything inconvenient, and when I looked like I needed a plate and ketchup, they brought it to me without me asking, and told me that it would be more comfortable if I ate like this... Everyone really thought of me as a daughter🥹 I heard that Belgium has a lot of racism, but the food here is delicious and the atmosphere is great🫶🏻 I want to bring my family next time!!!!!

Quand j'ai envie de moules-frites, même si c'est touristique, ça reste efficace ! Les moules sont généreusement servies, et les frites sont bien croustillantes, comme il faut pour saucer la sauce des moules.

Average touristy restaurant, food is OK enough but very expensive for what it was. More authentic restaurants in the city are not open until 6pm for dinner, and I had to rush for the Eurostar. Better attention to detail needed, had to ask for some crusty bread and water, this is fairly standard stuff on the continent! Had to use my phone data to get an English menu translation.

The restaurant is nice, however the staff is very busy. Please be aware that sitting on the 1st floor there is no air condutioning. I would stringly advise to book the table. We had a very good servicer- Tim from New Zealand, I would highly recommend him to have a table at his correr- very polite, quick to action, responsable and does a job very good.

Fantastyczne miejsce. Pełne klimatu, tradycji i przede wszystkim smaków. Mule, gulasz, piwo, wino po prostu obłędne. Przesympatyczni kelnerzy i bardzo dużo miejsca nawet dla dużych grup. Usytuowane w pieknej części Brukseli. Warte kazdych pieniędzy. Serdecznie polecam !!!

J’ai été chez Léon, une première fois avec une amie. Le repas était très bon par contre le service assez expéditif. Le serveur venait pour reprendre nos plats même lorsque ceux ci n’étaient pas totalement terminés à vu d’œil et sans nous demander si nous avions terminés. J’ai eu le même coup en revenant avec un groupe d’amies une deuxième fois. Serveur expéditif. Ca ne me donne pas envie de revenir. Dommage car la nourriture était bonne.

Un lugar agradable, con comida rica. Para cuatro comensales elegimos:- Pasta León- Mejillones gratinados al ajillo y- Steak,todos ellos muy recomendables. Las patatas que acompañan los platos principales tienen el sabor típico de la fritura en grasa animal.Para beber, recomendable probar la cerveza LA LEÓN, un buen acompañamiento para comidas, una cerveza suave, propia del restaurante.Un trato atento y profesional por parte del personal.Precio aproximado por persona 30€.Muy recomendable

A great place with great simple food and super service. The only gripe is that their salads have quite a lot of dressing applied and with hindsight, it'd be better to have on the side. I'd recommend eating here

Rezervasyon yaptırmadan “hadi gidip şansımızı deneyelim” dedik ve iyi ki de öyle yapmışız :) Yemekler gerçekten çok lezzetliydi. Midyeler, beyaz şarap ve özel bir sosla hazırlanıyor; enfesti. "Karbonade" adlı et yemeği de çok lezzetliydi. Fiyatlar oldukça uygun, ortam da çok keyifliydi. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!

Kalabalık bir yer, atmosfer fena değil. Çalışanlar da koşuşturuyor, fazla kalabalık, fazla gürültülüydü. Ama herkes kibar kimse kimseyi uyarmıyordu. Sınırlı bir bütçe ile gidenlere Leon Moule & frites yemeklerini tavsiye ederim. 20 euro civarı fiyat. Hem fiyat oldukça uygun hem de lezzeti fena değil. Ama menuleri oldukça zengin. Brüksel de Gidilebilir mekanlardan. Ama öyle ahım şahım bir yer de değil.

On s’est régalé, nous avons pris des moules et salade, nous avons été servi par Brahim qui a été d’une gentillesse inégalable et qui a su nous conseiller au mieux et nous accueillir dans l’établissement comme des rois. Le repas était donc non seulement savoureux mais en plus une superbe expérience. Un endroit à ne pas rater lorsqu’on se promène dans les ruelles du centre ville.

Mimo że restauracja otwiera się o 12 to już dziesięć minut później bylo naprawdę sporo osób. Obsługa trochę wolna, na przystawke wzielam zupę z mulami a daniem.glownym była ryba z frytkami. Wszystko smaczne. Polecam miejsce.

Ik kwam hier vast al 20 keer, bij Léon, in de Beenhouwersstraat. Ofwel: in hartje Brussel, dat voor mij altijd als op reis zijn aanvoelt. Frequent nuttig ik hier met vrienden op zaterdag in de late middag twee garnaalkroketjes en een rum-cola zero – en frequenter nog omgekeerde aantallen. Om vervolgens later op de dag elders voor echt te gaan eten. Een steak-friet daarentegen at ik bij Léon dus nog nooit. Toen echter bleek dat men hier onder de 20 euro zat voor het gerecht der gerechten, maakte mijn hart een sprong. En alvorens het terug geland was op mijn diafragma, zat ik al op de trein richting Brussel Centraal.Chez Léon is één van de weinige zaken in deze buurt, samen met Aux Armes de Bruxelles, die zich niet (louter) op toeristen richten, maar ook veel vaste klandizie kennen. En bij Léon kan er wat klandizie binnen. Altijd veel volk en toch altijd veel plaats! En alle dagen open, nooit gesloten! De zaak ademt traditie. Met zwierige obers in klassieke pakken – wij proberen altijd te manoeuvreren tot we door de grootste bon vivant onder hen bediend worden. En met gouden plaatjes tegen de muur die herinneren aan roemrijke bezoekers. Zoals Koning Filip!Enfin, in die steak-friet van 19,75 euro zit dus heel veel ambiance inbegrepen. Verder is de steak gewoon goed. Met aan de pluszijde een goede grillsmaak. En aan de minzijde een bite die qua droogte weliswaar niet doet denken aan de Atacama-woestijn maar in Wādī Ḥalfā, de op enkel na droogste plek ter wereld, toch redelijk goed zou blenden. Ook qua groenten is het gerecht wel erg basis. De frieten daarentegen die zijn elke calorie waard. Godgans goed! Bij de beste dikke frieten in ons land. Logisch, want de hoofdzaak hier. Lekkere mayonaise is evident inbegrepen.“Als je Brussel wilt zien leven, hoef je niet veel geld uit te geven.” Zo bezong Johan Verminnen in 1989 de Beenhouwersstraat in Brussel. Comida deliciosa. Pedimos el conejo, el estofado y los volovanes y de verdad estuvo espectacular. El mesero era servicial sin embargo, no hablaba mucho inglés ni español por lo que fue un poco difícil comunicarnos. El ambiente del lugar es muy lindo, pero nos asignaron la mesa a la entrada de la cocina y la verdad es bastante ruidosa y estresante, prefieran mejor en otro de los salones del restaurante si pueden.

在比利時住了25年的阿姨帶我們全家來吃，淡菜很新鮮，口感柔軟多汁，總共點了5種不同口味的淡菜鍋+啤酒，非常滿足好吃！！😋人員服務很好，巡桌很頻繁，讓客人感覺舒適。餐廳內的擺設也很用心很特別，餐後還拍了很多照片才離開😍另外還有QRcode提供多國語言菜單，真的很貼心😘是很棒的餐廳！價格也很合理！值得推薦

点餐的时候，选了牛排但是店员没有询问顾客要几分熟点牛排，也没有提及关于这方面的问题，以至于牛排只有表皮一层是熟的里面都是生的 不过也能接受生一些的所以还是吃掉了甜点选了奶油华夫饼，在所有菜都吃完后才发现没有上甜点所以向店员询问，结果店员甚至忘记了这件事，拿来菜单让再点一份？最后在得知已经点过华夫饼后，我们又干坐着快半个小时甚至没看到华夫饼的影子真的很气！

Restaurante muito bem situado no centro, junto ao famoso bar Delirium. Serviço rápido e de qualidade, com ementa diversificada, comida típica belga e opções vegan. Provamos os carbonnades flamande à la bière, a formule léon 500gr e beurre à l'ail gratinées e estavam excecionais, motivo pelo qual repetimos a ida ao restaurente. É um restaurante antigo com tradição familiar ao longo das gerações e com decoração icónica da cidade.

Great atmosphere and location. Large restaurant with a lot of room. The mussels were delicious. French onion soup was mediocre at best. They could have a better selection of beer on tap. Otherwise a good experience and I'd recommend it.

Restaurante para comer la comida típica de Bruselas. 💘El servicio fue excepcional, el camarero muy pendiente en todo momento.La comida estaba rica, destacar que los mejillones lo tiene en mucha variedad, gratinados, fritos, cocidos, etc. El plato estrella Carbonnade también estaba bueno.Es el lugar perfecto para ir nada más llegar a la ciudad, un clásico.
