Waffles


The Brussels waffle is a large rectangular waffle made from a light batter, with large, square, deep indentations.

They can be eaten warm or cold, often with toppings such as whipped cream, sugar, soft fruit, chocolate spread, syrup or butter. They can also be served with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit such as strawberries.

At “Chez Léon”, we serve them with sugar, whipped cream and other classic toppings, but our favourite is the Léon Waffle, served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate sauce and a lot of whipped cream.
