Waffles
The Brussels waffle is a large rectangular waffle made from a light batter, with large, square, deep indentations.
They can be eaten warm or cold, often with toppings such as whipped cream, sugar, soft fruit, chocolate spread, syrup or butter. They can also be served with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit such as strawberries.
At “Chez Léon”, we serve them with sugar, whipped cream and other classic toppings, but our favourite is the Léon Waffle, served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate sauce and a lot of whipped cream.

Absolutely the best mussels ever! They offer all kinds, and every dish is simply delicious — everything here is perfect. They even have their own beer, La Léon, which pairs wonderfully with the food.For dessert, I highly recommend trying the Wafel Léon — it’s the perfect sweet ending to your meal.If you’re visiting Brussels, you should definitely stop by this place. ランチ予約なしで入りました。ウェイターの男性はすごく親切です。パスタが食べたくて、口コミの写真を見せたら、見せた写真とは全然違う種類のパスタが提供されました。でも味付けは美味しかったのでokです。パスタの麺はそこそこです。値段はめっちゃ高かった！！円安だから仕方なのかな〜1人じゃなかったらムール貝が食べたかったです。多分このお店はムール貝を食べたほうがいい

Visite en famille dans cette institution belge, le restaurant est central localisé à proximité des principales attractions touristiques de la ville. On s’est laissés tenter car on m’en avait dit du bien. Le restaurant est tellement grand, c’en est un vrai labyrinthe d’escaliers et de passages avec des références à la culture belge un peu partout.Nous avons pris une carbonade (viande ultra tendre, portion généreuse, 23 €), un vol-au-vent (très bon également), et des pâtes carbonara. Tout était copieux et savoureux.Seul bémol : une bouteille d’eau de 50 cl à 6 €, un peu excessif.Bonne expérience conviviale, à la belge, dans un cadre animé.

Famous seafood restaurant in Brussel. Their mussels fish are excellent as it is. Taste so good from their well cooked and freshness I can feel from every bite. The potato fries are not quite impression, not the good one. Salad are good. Pasta are too creamy for me. Staffs are friendly and helpful with the menu. Seating area are large and they have more seat upstairs so it’s big enough to host large group. Restroom are upstairs. Credit card accepted. Enjoy!

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food has always been great, but IMAO a little internship in the USA wouldn’t hurt the waiters. In Belgium, as in France, many still follow the old-school mentality, acting like they own the place and are doing you a favour. A little refresher course in modern customer service wouldn’t hurt either 😉

Locale consigliato!È un locale molto turistico ma si mangia davvero bene. Abbiamo preso delle polpette con il sugo di Bruxelles e le tipiche cozze fritte, entrambi molto buoni.Ci hanno fatto accomodare senza aver prenotato.Il cameriere che ci ha seguito è stato super gentile e alla fine abbiamo scoperto che parlava anche italiano!

Chez Léon, c’est vrai, c’est schtroumpfement bon (mention spéciale pour le stoemp!), et possibilité de se régaler aussi pour les végétariens (la sauce des spaghettis à la Napolitaine est délicieuse); le décor est génial: schtroumpfs, malle de BD, etc…Le côté typique de la brasserie, procure un chouette souvenir Bruxellois!

Dishonest?! Check your bill / cheque before paying!!Simple and pleasant food but the experience was spoilt by being cheated at payment … the paper bill read 97 euro but the screen flashed approx 108 euro … when I instructed the waiter to take 110 euro (to include a small Belgian tip) he took 120 euro!! I only noticed a few seconds too late!! It spoilt an otherwise nice average tourist experience!

Nous sommes allés chez Leon un soir de semaine avec réservation. Nous avons très bien mangé, la formule Leon avec les frites et les moules était excellente avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix.Le restaurant est très bien décoré avec de nombreux détails et de nombreuses BD. Il est également très grand.Le service fut très agréable et rapide.

지인 추천받아 방문했다가 브뤼셀 머무는 이틀 저녁 연속으로 갔습니다. 다른 메뉴도 괜찮지만 홍합찜 정말x100 맛있네요. 유럽에서 음식 맛있다고 느껴본적이 손에 꼽는데 얘는 진짜 맛있었습니다. 손님이 많아 북적이지만 가게가 신속하게 돌아가고 서버도 밝고 친절했어요. 매장 분위기가 정말 독특하고 개성해서 구경하는 재미도 있었습니다. 추천해요!

Très bonne surprise !!! La cuisine est vraiment savoureuse, avec des plats typiques bien exécutés, j’ai particulièrement apprécié les moules gratinées, parfaitement assaisonnées. L’ambiance est chaleureuse, animée sans être trop bruyante et le cadre a ce charme un peu rétro qu’on aime retrouver dans une vraie brasserie. Le service était efficace et sympathique. Une adresse à retenir.

Our friends took us here for dinner our last night in Brussels. Wow, an absolute delight. The food was impeccable. If you love mussels this is the place for you. The restaurant is a throwback to a bygone age. You feel as you have stepped back in time.If you are in Brussels and want a real treat and a culinary delight; then Chez Léon is the place for you. Un passage obligé de votre séjour à Bruxelles ! L'adresse ne vole pas sa réputation, c'est vraiment un très bon endroit à faire !Les plats sont très bons et rendent honneur à la gastronomie belge, le tout dans un cadre d'une richesse incroyable (bande dessinée , Schtroumpf, fusée de Tintin...) ! Le prix est certes un peu plus élevé que dans les autres restaurants similaires mais au vu de la notoriété de Chez Léon, rien de vraiment choquant.Mon seul bémol est au niveau du personnel qui n'est pas très souriant, c'est un peu l'usine mais on pardonnera ça tant le reste en met plein les yeux.Par contre pensez vraiment à réserver à l'avance !

La décoration est incroyable (Schtromph, fusée Tintin, bandes dessinées, dessins de moules…).Les plats sont bons.Il faut réserver sinon le restaurant est complet.En revanche les serveurs sont très peu souriants.Niveau dessert les profiteroles ont été décevant niveau tailles contrairement à l’assiette de fromages belges qui était bien copieuse (juste dommage que la carte ne précise pas de quels fromages il s’agit).

2025/09/16要看評論！！！最後一天在比利時布魯塞爾的最後一餐覺得有點失望之前兩次來這邊都要排隊這次來沒找到入口原來是在另一個門進去之後等帶位坐定後點餐但服務生真的很久 臉很臭而且還先幫白人結帳收餐盤等等好不容易點完餐坐著的時候又一直感受到視線真的滿煩的（雖然可能是我多心）-上餐大概等了10-15分鐘上來的義大利麵看起來超普通吃起來也很普通不是很愛我沒點其他東西只有點飲料，只有有氣泡的飲料可以選擇，還很貴-我的位置是兩人坐但只有一張椅子東西沒地方放空氣不怎麼好吃到很熱-廁所在二樓走過去的時候看了一下裝潢還是不錯的不過一個人就是活該在一樓小角落吃飯😮💨用餐體驗不算太好食物也沒到超好吃本來是本地人推薦的但吃完就覺得這就是他們覺得好吃的食物？也太可憐-嚐鮮可以，不然不如去吃薯條或麥當勞，比較開心也比較好吃裝潢倒是很好拍，不過人真的很多服務生也很多啦但動作很慢

Ursprünglich wollte ich in ein anderes Restaurant gehen, aber als ich an diesem vorbeikam, sah es so einladend aus, dass ich spontan hineinging – und es war die richtige Entscheidung! Das Essen war absolut frisch und lecker, der Service schnell und freundlich, und die Preise waren sehr fair. Ich war wirklich begeistert – kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Check your bill / cheque before paying!!Simple and pleasant food but the experience was spoilt by being cheated at payment … the paper bill read 97 euro but the screen flashed approx 108 euro … when I instructed the waiter to take 110 euro (to include a small Belgian tip) he took 120 euro!! I only noticed a few seconds too late!! It spoilt an otherwise nice average tourist experience!

Nous sommes allés chez Leon un soir de semaine avec réservation. Nous avons très bien mangé, la formule Leon avec les frites et les moules était excellente avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix.Le restaurant est très bien décoré avec de nombreux détails et de nombreuses BD. Il est également très grand.Le service fut très agréable et rapide.

Un service parfait, un rapport qualité/prix qui vaut le coup. La nourriture était excellente. Le cadre est dans le thème belge, parfait si vous venez en vacances.On a réservé quelques jours à l'avance, ce que je vous conseille de faire !

지인 추천받아 방문했다가 브뤼셀 머무는 이틀 저녁 연속으로 갔습니다. 다른 메뉴도 괜찮지만 홍합찜 정말x100 맛있네요. 유럽에서 음식 맛있다고 느껴본적이 손에 꼽는데 얘는 진짜 맛있었습니다. 손님이 많아 북적이지만 가게가 신속하게 돌아가고 서버도 밝고 친절했어요. 매장 분위기가 정말 독특하고 개성해서 구경하는 재미도 있었습니다. 추천해요!

Such a lovely spot , friendly staff, incredible food, and a location that’s perfect for people-watching 👀. Had my very first meal in Brussels here and I’d absolutely come back on my next trip ✨. Didn’t get a chance to try sea food, but will do next time ☺️

We were there for lunch on Saturday, hardly find space to seat. The service was very slow and disappointing. The bar and drink service is very quick! and The food is very delicious and also expensive.

Très bonne surprise !!! La cuisine est vraiment savoureuse, avec des plats typiques bien exécutés, j’ai particulièrement apprécié les moules gratinées, parfaitement assaisonnées. L’ambiance est chaleureuse, animée sans être trop bruyante et le cadre a ce charme un peu rétro qu’on aime retrouver dans une vraie brasserie. Le service était efficace et sympathique. Une adresse à retenir.

Our friends took us here for dinner our last night in Brussels. Wow, an absolute delight. The food was impeccable. If you love mussels this is the place for you. The restaurant is a throwback to a bygone age. You feel as you have stepped back in time.If you are in Brussels and want a real treat and a culinary delight; then Chez Léon is the place for you. We would be surprised if you did not enjoy your experience.

Un passage obligé de votre séjour à Bruxelles ! L'adresse ne vole pas sa réputation, c'est vraiment un très bon endroit à faire !Les plats sont très bons et rendent honneur à la gastronomie belge, le tout dans un cadre d'une richesse incroyable (bande dessinée , Schtroumpf, fusée de Tintin...) ! Le prix est certes un peu plus élevé que dans les autres restaurants similaires mais au vu de la notoriété de Chez Léon, rien de vraiment choquant.Mon seul bémol est au niveau du personnel qui n'est pas très souriant, c'est un peu l'usine mais on pardonnera ça tant le reste en met plein les yeux.Par contre pensez vraiment à réserver à l'avance !

La décoration est incroyable (Schtromph, fusée Tintin, bandes dessinées, dessins de moules…).Les plats sont bons.Il faut réserver sinon le restaurant est complet.En revanche les serveurs sont très peu souriants.Niveau dessert les profiteroles ont été décevant niveau tailles contrairement à l’assiette de fromages belges qui était bien copieuse (juste dommage que la carte ne précise pas de quels fromages il s’agit).

2025/09/16要看評論！！！最後一天在比利時布魯塞爾的最後一餐覺得有點失望之前兩次來這邊都要排隊這次來沒找到入口原來是在另一個門進去之後等帶位坐定後點餐但服務生真的很久 臉很臭而且還先幫白人結帳收餐盤等等好不容易點完餐坐著的時候又一直感受到視線真的滿煩的（雖然可能是我多心）-上餐大概等了10-15分鐘上來的義大利麵看起來超普通吃起來也很普通不是很愛我沒點其他東西只有點飲料，只有有氣泡的飲料可以選擇，還很貴-我的位置是兩人坐但只有一張椅子東西沒地方放空氣不怎麼好吃到很熱-廁所在二樓走過去的時候看了一下裝潢還是不錯的不過一個人就是活該在一樓小角落吃飯😮💨用餐體驗不算太好食物也沒到超好吃本來是本地人推薦的但吃完就覺得這就是他們覺得好吃的食物？也太可憐-嚐鮮可以，不然不如去吃薯條或麥當勞，比較開心也比較好吃裝潢倒是很好拍，不過人真的很多服務生也很多啦但動作很慢

Ursprünglich wollte ich in ein anderes Restaurant gehen, aber als ich an diesem vorbeikam, sah es so einladend aus, dass ich spontan hineinging – und es war die richtige Entscheidung! Das Essen war absolut frisch und lecker, der Service schnell und freundlich, und die Preise waren sehr fair. Ich war wirklich begeistert – kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!
