Schtroumpfs
The Smurfs (French: les Schtroumpfs) is a Belgian comic series created by cartoonist Peyo, (1928-1992). They are tiny, blue-skinned humanoid creatures dressed in white, with an elderly bearded leader in red pants known as Papa Smurf.
The Smurfs were introduced as supporting characters in an already established series, Johan and Peewit, in 1958, and began to star in their own series as of 1959.
Chez Léon pays tribute to our childhood heroes by proudly displaying the statue of the Welcome Smurf.

Atienden rápido. Las mesas están muy juntas para mí gusto, casi comes con los que tengas al lado, pero el sitio es curioso y la comida está bien si lo que buscas es más variedad de platos. Çok güzel ve lezzetli bir yerdi. Dışarıdan göründüğünden daha büyük ve içerisi baya kalabalık. Rezervasyon yaptırmazsın sırada bekler ya da geri cevrilirsiniz. Tek sorun çalışanların hepsi Fransızca konuşuyor ve resmen İngilizce konuşmayı reddediyorlar. Ama bir şekilde anlaşıyorsunuz. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

It is very old fashioned amd nice place. But I will not say the same for food and service. We ordered mussels and spaghetti. There is no any special taste unfortunately especially spaghetti is very bad experience. But mussels was good.Beside this, service was not good. It was delayed and the waiter was so nervous. Just as, he wants us to go out fastly and receipt bill without request :)Prices are not cheap and you can find better alternatives around.

ムール貝のクリームパスタがとてもいい味でした！魚介の風味と色んな旨味が濃縮されています。昼すぎの空いてる時間にここを通りかかり目をつけました。とても大きな敷地面積を持ち、2階にまで席があります。それにも関わらず夕食時の時間帯は大行列ができていて19時ぐらいから1時間ほど待ちました。ちぎりやすいようにパンに切り込みが入れてあるちょっとした気配りもうれしいです。

The mussel selection served on a tray with sauce is absolutely delicious. I personally didn’t enjoy the heavy oily taste of some of the fried items. When we arrived around 5–6 pm, we were seated immediately without waiting. They also accept reservations, which could be a good idea during busy hours. It’s quite a touristy place, but the atmosphere is very enjoyable and it’s definitely worth visiting for the tasty mussels.

Everything was soo good, the food, service, and vibe. The beer was super refreshing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and caring.The mussels were very fresh, and the fries came with lots of nice sauces to choose from. I also really loved the mashed potato the texture was good and creamy, so comforting.A guy seated next to us wasn’t feeling well, and the team kept checking on him and even brought ice to help. Special shoutout to Ben, who was serving our table and took extra care of us. Truly thoughtful service. Highly recommend!

The waitress was speaking some african dialect of French, no other languages. She was not able to tell the difference between the house beers and finally confused the order of my wife. For such a good place, she was just a bad fit spoiling all the impression.

Alors là, m'fieu, ça est tout à fait le genre d'expérience a ne surtout pas rater, sais-tu, une fois.Les meilleurs spécialistes culinaire belge sont servi Chez Léon.Stoemp, Waterzooi, Moules Frites tout est présent et c'est délicieux et copieux et ce depuis plus d'un centenaire.Visiter Bruxelles sans passer par Chez Léon est un impardonnable péché.

Very poor management and extremely disappointing service. We ordered beef tartare with a staff member named Denis, but after following up 3 times, he kept saying “with my colleague” and never actually took action. Nothing moved forward at all.We also did not receive the complimentary bread, which should have been provided. When we tried to ask for the bill, we were again told to “ask my colleague.” There was no ownership, no responsibility, and no proper service.Not recommended.

An institution, a place to try once, no need to come again.The food is most likely of a good quality but because of the sheer volume and customers it always arrived lukewarm, it may be less of an issue in summer time but in winter when you have garlic butter sauce that starts to go back to butter while you are on your second bite, that is quite an issue, same goes for the fries, hot fries are fantastic, when they get colder... not so much.However it's fun to see how they used 3 or 4 different house buildings and turned them into one utterly massive restaurant, should you tell me that some guests got lost on their way to the toilets I would believe you.

We visited Chez Léon because it is known for its long-standing tradition and experience in the city. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The place was extremely crowded, and the service was not up to standard. There was a strong, unpleasant smell, and the tables were placed very close to each other, which made the experience uncomfortable. We ordered the classic mussels, but they were not as tasty as we had expected. The overall concept and design of the place are interesting and visually appealing.

J'y ai été pour dîner avec un groupe dans le cadre d'un voyage erasmus. On a réservé er on a été très bien accueillis, ambiance chaleureuse et service rapide malgré le fait que le restaurant soit bondé. On a été servis par Mika, super accueillant et gentil. Repas copieux et bons, je recommande, restaurant très bien placé et spacieux.

Très bonnes croquettes de crevettes accompagnées de très bonnes frites. Un peu déçue par la salade d’accompagnement et de la mayonnaise qui n’etait pas maison. Vous feriez un plat identique avec 2 croquettes et un prix un peu plus bas cela conviendrait parfaitement plutôt que 3 croquettes pour unPlat à 30 euros par personne. Un peu cher, c’est dommage.

The beer was super refreshing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and caring.The mussels were very fresh, and the fries came with lots of nice sauces to choose from. I also really loved the mashed potato the texture was good and creamy, so comforting.A guy seated next to us wasn’t feeling well, and the team kept checking on him and even brought ice to help. Special shoutout to Ben, who was serving our table and took extra care of us. Truly thoughtful service. Highly recommend!

The waitress was speaking some african dialect of French, no other languages. She was not able to tell the difference between the house beers and finally confused the order of my wife. For such a good place, she was just a bad fit spoiling all the impression.

Alors là, m'fieu, ça est tout à fait le genre d'expérience a ne surtout pas rater, sais-tu, une fois.Les meilleurs spécialistes culinaire belge sont servi Chez Léon.Stoemp, Waterzooi, Moules Frites tout est présent et c'est délicieux et copieux et ce depuis plus d'un centenaire.Visiter Bruxelles sans passer par Chez Léon est un impardonnable péché.

Very poor management and extremely disappointing service. We ordered beef tartare with a staff member named Denis, but after following up 3 times, he kept saying “with my colleague” and never actually took action. Nothing moved forward at all.We also did not receive the complimentary bread, which should have been provided. When we tried to ask for the bill, we were again told to “ask my colleague.” There was no ownership, no responsibility, and no proper service.Not recommended.

An institution, a place to try once, no need to come again.The food is most likely of a good quality but because of the sheer volume and customers it always arrived lukewarm, it may be less of an issue in summer time but in winter when you have garlic butter sauce that starts to go back to butter while you are on your second bite, that is quite an issue, same goes for the fries, hot fries are fantastic, when they get colder... not so much.However it's fun to see how they used 3 or 4 different house buildings and turned them into one utterly massive restaurant, should you tell me that some guests got lost on their way to the toilets I would believe you.

We visited Chez Léon because it is known for its long-standing tradition and experience in the city. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The place was extremely crowded, and the service was not up to standard. There was a strong, unpleasant smell, and the tables were placed very close to each other, which made the experience uncomfortable. We ordered the classic mussels, but they were not as tasty as we had expected. The overall concept and design of the place are interesting and visually appealing.

J'y ai été pour dîner avec un groupe dans le cadre d'un voyage erasmus. On a réservé er on a été très bien accueillis, ambiance chaleureuse et service rapide malgré le fait que le restaurant soit bondé. On a été servis par Mika, super accueillant et gentil. Repas copieux et bons, je recommande, restaurant très bien placé et spacieux.

Très bonnes croquettes de crevettes accompagnées de très bonnes frites. Un peu déçue par la salade d’accompagnement et de la mayonnaise qui n’etait pas maison. Vous feriez un plat identique avec 2 croquettes et un prix un peu plus bas cela conviendrait parfaitement plutôt que 3 croquettes pour unPlat à 30 euros par personne. Un peu cher, c’est dommage.
