Excellent mussles, I took those based on white wine, however the wine taste was nowhere, but the fries were good (served as a sample I m afraid) I took the awful creme brûlée for dessert, it was just a flan with some sparkles of sugary frost. Not worth it's 8€. OK for a bite, but go elsewhere if you want the real deal. Service was top the whole time (except I had to ask for wipes between the dishes).

Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen war lecker und wurde schnell serviert. Das Ambiente war für einen großen Laden sehr angenehm. Toiletten waren sauber. Volle Punktzahl.

Couldn't fault the experience we had here. We queued for about 5 minutes but were then seated quickly. We had a meal deal where we had mussels, frites, and a beer.The food came quickly and the staff were very friendly. You may have to queue for longer at busier times but it is worth the wait.

Mal servicio. Demorado. El mesero que nos atendió ni siquiera nos trajo pan a la mesa. Se le pidió agua de la casa me indicó que no servían agua de la casa cosa que no era cierta ya que otras mesas tenían agua. Sin embargo, la comida en general estuvo muy buena.

Świetne jedzenie, na które warto czekać (polecam mule zapiekane w serze, królika w piwie i wołowinę w piwie, ale frytki słabe), obsługa trochę „w biegu”, bardzo fajny klimat lokalu, czuć długą historię rodzinnego biznesu, bardzo dobre białe ‚wino domu’, nie jest tanio, ale naprawdę warto tu zjeść i posiedzieć smakując atmosferę tego niezwykłego miejsca…

It was great as usual!Yes, its kind of touristic spot as well but they still trying to take care of every single customer. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable, food was delicious. Every time I visited Chez Léon, im getting impressed by the ambiance, that old touch still remains and when you go upstairs you feel like you need to check that old photos and decorations on the walls.

First, hard to understand some bad experiences. We went at lunch time before tours came in. Food couldn't be better. Plenty of fries for 2 people, mussels in cream sauce i ended up drinking the "soup"at the end. Oh wow the mussels with cheese !! Had a waffle with cream, delicious. Had 2 caffes of wine also. Our waiter was fantastic, wife wanted extra napkin to save the logo so he brought 2 business cards and extra wet pack with logos.

My friend and I had our best meal in Brussels here. The mussels deal for one with fries and a beer is great value at €18.75 and the portions are perfect. Staff were very professional and spoke perfect english.

Sitio típico para comer comida regional, muy buenos mejillones, probamos los también los que venían en fritura y eran una delicia. La croqueta está muy sobrevalorada, 10 euros por cada una!!! Comimos mejillones con patatas, típico de Bélgica, y elegimos varios maneras de prepararlos. Estaban muy ricos, y fuimos allí pq nos lo recomendó la guía del free tour, como uno de los sitios de Bruselas de confianza para comer mejillones.

A Brussels staple a must stop. The atmosphere was terrific. We stopped in during a festival,place was packed ( we had reservations). Our service was excellent. I got a mussels, frits, and beer special for 18 Euros 20 USD what a great deal. Will definitely stop back in next time I’m in town.

Birthday lunch for my husband. Wow what an amazing little restaurant, mussels were so fresh and those chips I believe are cooked in some sort of meat dripping. Will be back again over the weekend.

Fidèle à sa réputation : très bon et très généreux pour un prix raisonnable !Je vous conseille le Waterzooi de poisson. Un délice !Concernant le service, c’était presque parfait, même si le serveur était un peu fatigué.Mon conseil : allez-y !Le restaurant est très grand et vous trouverez forcément une table pour vous accueillir

Ristorante molto bello e caratteristico; servizio disastroso: CAMERIERI DISONESTI !!!Il 31/08/2024 ho pranzato al "Chez Leon" con mia moglie.Abbiamo ordinato 1 waterzzoi di pesce e le cozze al vino bianco (piatti tipici in Belgio), con 3 bottiglie di acqua naturale da mezzo litro.Mentre stavo mangiando le cozze si sono avvicinati due camerieri che si sono detti qualcosa; poi uno di loro mi ha interrotto il pranzo perchè voleva sapere come avrei pagato: in contanti o con la carta (??mentre sto mangiando??).Dopo aver mandato giù il boccone che avevo in bocca gli ho risposto che dopo avrei pagato con la carta. E lui se ne è andato ...Appena ho finito di mangiare si è presentato ancora il cameriere (con la supervisione dell'altro cameriere complice a 2 metri di distanza che stava controllando) con un "Ticket proforma" (uno scontrino non fiscale).Ma noi non avevamo chiesto il conto, comunque lui aveva fretta (era intorno alle ore 13:30). E se avessimo voluto qualcos'altro? Un dolce, il caffè, ecc.?Comunque, ho preso la carta e ho pagato Euro 65,00.DOPO aver pagato, il cameriere mi ha indicato nello scontrino che mi ha addebitato SOLO UNA BOTTIGLIA DI ACQUA, che costa Euro 4,75.Quindi HA PRETESO UN ALTRO PAGAMENTO di Euro 10,00 IN CONTANTI (1 Euro in più, poiché 4,75+4,75 risulta 9,00).Quindi gli ho dato 10,00 Euro che si è messo subito in tasca. CHE VERGOGNA!!!Cliente trattato male, preso in giro e ristorante derubato.Io e mia moglie ce ne siamo andati a bere il caffè da un'altra parte.L'impressione è che i 2 camerieri stessero seguendo un copione già collaudato con altri.Peccato rovinare un ristorante così bello con una banda di camerieri ladri!Mai più al "Chez Leon"!

Everyone should try this restaurant. The food was excellent and there was really good and fast service. There is also a lot of seating place inside, so you do not have to wait in a line to get seated. The athmosphere is also cozy and the salt shakers are in the shape of a lighthouse. The only downside is that they did not have a wine menu in another language then French, but the waiter had a lot of knowledge about it. I can really recommend the fried mussels

Restaurante muito turístico, comida especialidade belga, talvez eles cozinhem assim, mas era tudo sem sabor, eu pedi um Waterzooi (bacalhau e salmão em molho branco com batatas) que não tinha gosto de nada, os peixes e as batatas pareciam cozidos em água pura, nem sal tinha. Comi porque estava com fome e não queria gastar em outro restaurante. Pra quem gosta de comida de hospital é um prato cheio!!!O ponto positivo foi o atendimento do garçom, muito simpático.

Ou pouvez vous manger des moules à Bruxelles ?Évidement dans ce lieu emblématique « chez Léon »Nous avons réservé un dimanche soir afin de jouir pleinement de ces fameuses moules à volonté.Aucun regrets quant à ce choix de part l’onctuosité des moules et leurs saveurs variés.Ce n’est pas donné pour une portion, mais il faut avouer que si vous en mangez 3… cela devient rentable (nous sommes de gros mangeurs)Personnel sympathique mais en même temps, c’est la Belgique.

Es el restaurante típico se Bruselas para comer los platos típicos de la ciudad.Fuimos siguiendo recomendaciones de las redes sociales.El local es muy grande y ambientado.No diría que es extraordinario pero la comida, y los mejillones, está buena.Eso sí, en mi próxima visita a Bruselas no repetiré.

La comida es muy buena, cenamos muy bien y dentro de unos precios razonables teniendo en cuenta los precios de la ciudad. Los mejillones estaban deliciosos. El Local es muy bonito y acogedor, pero lo que es el servicio deja bastante que desear, los camareros son bastante desagradables excepto el que puede que fuera el encargado que era el único que se salvaba porque fue muy agradable. Pero eso deberían de tenerlo en cuenta, que una sonrisa no hace daño a nadie, al revés.

Запечені мідії під сиром дуже смачні! Я залишилась повністю задоволена) Подруга замовляла інші мідії, вони виявились напів сирими - це так потрібно було. Вона не знала про це, коли замовляла. В результаті, попросила офіціанта, щоб їх запекли краще. Нам це зробили без жодних проблем.Єдине, що не сподобалось в атмосфері - дуже було шумно на кухні, шось падало. Це трохи заважало розслабитись

Genial restaurante típico belga en el centro de Bruselas donde toda su carta, ambiente y personal es un ejemplo de que no es incompatible la buena comida típica con lo turístico. Fuimos con muchas recomendaciones y ha merecido la pena.

Típico lugar y uno de los restaurantes más conocidos de Bruselas donde tomar les "moules frites" (mejillones con patatas fritas). Pedimos a la marinera y al vino blanco para 4 personas de uno de los nenus y nos los sirvieron con un tomate natural con camarones. Estaba todo muy rico. El servicio bastante rápido a pesar de estar el local lleno. El precio en consonancia a los precios belgas. Recomendable.

Comimos mejillones con patatas, típico de Bélgica, y elegimos varios maneras de prepararlos. Estaban muy ricos, y fuimos allí pq nos lo recomendó la guía del free tour, como uno de los sitios de Bruselas de confianza para comer mejillones.

A Brussels staple a must stop. The atmosphere was terrific. We stopped in during a festival,place was packed ( we had reservations). Our service was excellent. I got a mussels, frits, and beer special for 18 Euros 20 USD what a great deal. Will definitely stop back in next time I’m in town.

Birthday lunch for my husband. Wow what an amazing little restaurant, mussels were so fresh and those chips I believe are cooked in some sort of meat dripping. Will be back again over the weekend.

Fidèle à sa réputation : très bon et très généreux pour un prix raisonnable !Je vous conseille le Waterzooi de poisson. Un délice !Concernant le service, c’était presque parfait, même si le serveur était un peu fatigué.Mon conseil : allez-y !Le restaurant est très grand et vous trouverez forcément une table pour vous accueillir

Ristorante molto bello e caratteristico; servizio disastroso: CAMERIERI DISONESTI !!!Il 31/08/2024 ho pranzato al "Chez Leon" con mia moglie.Abbiamo ordinato 1 waterzzoi di pesce e le cozze al vino bianco (piatti tipici in Belgio), con 3 bottiglie di acqua naturale da mezzo litro.Mentre stavo mangiando le cozze si sono avvicinati due camerieri che si sono detti qualcosa; poi uno di loro mi ha interrotto il pranzo perchè voleva sapere come avrei pagato: in contanti o con la carta (??mentre sto mangiando??).Dopo aver mandato giù il boccone che avevo in bocca gli ho risposto che dopo avrei pagato con la carta. E lui se ne è andato ...Appena ho finito di mangiare si è presentato ancora il cameriere (con la supervisione dell'altro cameriere complice a 2 metri di distanza che stava controllando) con un "Ticket proforma" (uno scontrino non fiscale).Ma noi non avevamo chiesto il conto, comunque lui aveva fretta (era intorno alle ore 13:30). E se avessimo voluto qualcos'altro? Un dolce, il caffè, ecc.?Comunque, ho preso la carta e ho pagato Euro 65,00.DOPO aver pagato, il cameriere mi ha indicato nello scontrino che mi ha addebitato SOLO UNA BOTTIGLIA DI ACQUA, che costa Euro 4,75.Quindi HA PRETESO UN ALTRO PAGAMENTO di Euro 10,00 IN CONTANTI (1 Euro in più, poiché 4,75+4,75 risulta 9,00).Quindi gli ho dato 10,00 Euro che si è messo subito in tasca. CHE VERGOGNA!!!Cliente trattato male, preso in giro e ristorante derubato.Io e mia moglie ce ne siamo andati a bere il caffè da un'altra parte.L'impressione è che i 2 camerieri stessero seguendo un copione già collaudato con altri.Peccato rovinare un ristorante così bello con una banda di camerieri ladri!Mai più al "Chez Leon"!

Everyone should try this restaurant. The food was excellent and there was really good and fast service. There is also a lot of seating place inside, so you do not have to wait in a line to get seated. The athmosphere is also cozy and the salt shakers are in the shape of a lighthouse. The only downside is that they did not have a wine menu in another language then French, but the waiter had a lot of knowledge about it. I can really recommend the fried mussels

Servis ve yemekler çok güzeldi. Yemekler lezzetli. Dil balığı, midye ve tavuklu milföy( vol-au-vent) sipariş ettik, hepsi birbirinden güzeldi. Kesinlikle öneririm.

Restaurante muito turístico, comida especialidade belga, talvez eles cozinhem assim, mas era tudo sem sabor, eu pedi um Waterzooi (bacalhau e salmão em molho branco com batatas) que não tinha gosto de nada, os peixes e as batatas pareciam cozidos em água pura, nem sal tinha. Comi porque estava com fome e não queria gastar em outro restaurante. Pra quem gosta de comida de hospital é um prato cheio!!!O ponto positivo foi o atendimento do garçom, muito simpático.

Excelente lugar, comida deliciosa y tienen un menú infantil (sin costo) que trae pollo que está súper jugoso, papas fritas y puré de manzana… la cerveza muy deliciosa y lo mejor es que su menú digital tiene diferentes idiomas

Very good quality food - especially the mussels with fries! The atmosphere in the middle of the small streets was a great experience. And: Kids eat for free until 12! Also, the service was perfect 👌 We will be back 😀

Ou pouvez vous manger des moules à Bruxelles ?Évidement dans ce lieu emblématique « chez Léon »Nous avons réservé un dimanche soir afin de jouir pleinement de ces fameuses moules à volonté.Aucun regrets quant à ce choix de part l’onctuosité des moules et leurs saveurs variés.Ce n’est pas donné pour une portion, mais il faut avouer que si vous en mangez 3… cela devient rentable (nous sommes de gros mangeurs)Personnel sympathique mais en même temps, c’est la Belgique.

Comimos los.típicos mejillones con patatas, estaban ricos. Nos llevamos una gran sorpresa cuando vimos que el menú infantil es gratis y de muy buena calidad, todo un detalle.Los camareros profesionales y amables, el local por dentro tiene un gran encanto. Muy recomendable.

Es el restaurante típico se Bruselas para comer los platos típicos de la ciudad.Fuimos siguiendo recomendaciones de las redes sociales.El local es muy grande y ambientado.No diría que es extraordinario pero la comida, y los mejillones, está buena.Eso sí, en mi próxima visita a Bruselas no repetiré.

La comida es muy buena, cenamos muy bien y dentro de unos precios razonables teniendo en cuenta los precios de la ciudad. Los mejillones estaban deliciosos. El Local es muy bonito y acogedor, pero lo que es el servicio deja bastante que desear, los camareros son bastante desagradables excepto el que puede que fuera el encargado que era el único que se salvaba porque fue muy agradable. Pero eso deberían de tenerlo en cuenta, que una sonrisa no hace daño a nadie, al revés.

Запечені мідії під сиром дуже смачні! Я залишилась повністю задоволена) Подруга замовляла інші мідії, вони виявились напів сирими - це так потрібно було. Вона не знала про це, коли замовляла. В результаті, попросила офіціанта, щоб їх запекли краще. Нам це зробили без жодних проблем.Єдине, що не сподобалось в атмосфері - дуже було шумно на кухні, шось падало. Це трохи заважало розслабитись

Genial restaurante típico belga en el centro de Bruselas donde toda su carta, ambiente y personal es un ejemplo de que no es incompatible la buena comida típica con lo turístico. Fuimos con muchas recomendaciones y ha merecido la pena.

Los mejores mejillones que he comido nunca, excelente comida y servicio, además el menú de los niños es gratis, lo único que no me gustó es el precio de la bebida, 6€ por una coca cola pequeña de grifo.

Típico lugar y uno de los restaurantes más conocidos de Bruselas donde tomar les "moules frites" (mejillones con patatas fritas). Pedimos a la marinera y al vino blanco para 4 personas de uno de los nenus y nos los sirvieron con un tomate natural con camarones. Estaba todo muy rico. El servicio bastante rápido a pesar de estar el local lleno. El precio en consonancia a los precios belgas. Recomendable.
