Jean-Michel Folon
Jean-Michel Folon 1934-2005), was a Belgian watercolourist, painter, engraver and sculptor.
During a friendly lunch with Rudy Vanlancker at “110”, he offered to draw the invitation to the opening of the first “Léon de Bruxelles” restaurant in Paris.
It includes all the Belgian standards (Belgian flag, speculoos, potatoes), as well as an Eiffel Tower on its way to Paris.

Sin espera.Pedimos una cazuelita de carne estofada en cerveza que estaba buena pero algo escasa para lo que costó, además unos calamares que eran masa frita con algo dentro que parecía anilla de pota y patatas fritas.Para beber 2 cervezas.Todo 53 euros.A favor hay que decir que el camarero habla español.Nosotros no volveriamos. Probaríamos otro cualquiera que hay muchos en la zona y casi todos ofrecen lo mismo.

Très bonne expérience chez Léon à Bruxelles. Les moules étaient très bonnes, portions généreuses et service assez rapide malgré le monde. L’ambiance est sympa et le personnel accueillant. Nous avons été servis par Samy, très sympathique et attentionné. Une bonne adresse pour manger des moules à Bruxelles, on reviendra avec plaisir !

That’s literally my second time here and honestly when in doubt from now on, I’m coming to this place because I never had a bad service and today Jimmy was cherry on top. He was amazing. He really had an amazing service amazing vibe and the food as always is super good. I always go with the muscles with garlic and butter oxide with a beer, not to be mixed of course.

Cibo buono ma non eccezionale, io ho preso le cozze in casseruola che comprendono anche patatine e birra al prezzo di 20 €. Il conto non è divisibile. Prezzi Altini ma non in modo esagerato. Bello ma non ci vivrei.

Et le cadre est aussi superbe !Mais au-delà de la cuisine, je tiens vraiment à souligner le professionnalisme et la gentillesse de Jimmy et Yamar. Les serveurs ont été aux petits soins avec nous du début à la fin, toujours souriants, attentifs et d’une grande bienveillance. Ristorante tipico belga nel pieno centro della città. Molto frequentato ma nel mio caso non c'era la fila. Servizio gentile e abbastanza veloce. Cibo buono ma non eccezionale, io ho preso le cozze in casseruola che comprendono anche patatine e birra al prezzo di 20 €. Il conto non è divisibile. Prezzi Altini ma non in modo esagerato. Bello ma non ci vivrei.

Restaurante que sigue teniendo su esencia años después. Fórmula de la casa, mejillones al vapor a la marinera, patatas fritas y una copa de cerveza. También los espaguetis de la casa muy buenos. Siempre repetimos cuando venimos a Bruselas. Sitio tranquilo, sin prisas y con un servicio excepcional.
