Fuimos a este restaurante recomendado por la guía de tour que hicimos y la verdad es que no nos decepcionó. Probamos el menú de 21€ que incluye un entrante, principal y postre y la calidad precio fue muy buena. Fuera del menú pedimos los mejillones a las finas hierbas. A mi me gustaron, a mi acompañante no mucho.

Solides Essen zum Mittag. Sehr netter und freundlicher Service. Die Umgebung hat eine schöne Atmosphäre, Nachtisch war gut, Sabine fand die Löffel zu gross. Dafür hatte Sie die Möglichkeit, die Fritten zu salzen. Für Stadtzentrum aber akzeptabele Lösung zum Essen.

日本ではあまりムール貝を食べる機会はないですし、そもそもそんなに見かけないです。ですが今まで食べたムール貝のなかで間違いなくダントツに旨いです。お店もブリュッセルの繁華街の素晴らしい景観の中の建物の１角にありビールを飲みながらムール貝を食べると感慨深いものがあります。また店員さんの対応も最高で、帰り際思わずユーアーグレイトと言ってしまったほど素晴らしかったです。

In this area of Brussels, we noticed a lot of competing restaurants with the big boards with pictures of their food. They stand there and try to get you to come into their restaurant. We noticed that at Chez Leon it was packed, no sign board with food pictures and nobody begging you to come in. So we gave it a try and we absolutely loved it. We sat upstairs and were worried that it may be too hot but they had portable AC units keeping it comfortable. Prices were excellent and food even better. We had the steak frites (filet) and the Moules frites. It was fantastic and I should also mention that the beer was good and cold. Our waitress was Marine was so funny and personable. Don’t miss a chance to have dinner here!

A gente gosta muito desse local.Extremamente tradicional em Bruxelas é uma ótima opção para comer o prato mais tradicional da Bélgica - Mariscos com fritas e estava delicioso.Comemos também umas frituras de frutos do mar que estavam bemmm bom.Atendimento é super cordial, o ambiente é bonito e o preço é bem ok.Recomendamos esse local

Κλασικό τουριστικό μαγαζί που δεν θα σε προδώσει! Αξίζει να πάρεις και να φας την κατσαρόλα με τα μύδια! Τώρα έχει βάλει και ένα combo με μικρότερες κατσαρόλες πατάτες τηγανητές και μπύρα κατάλληλο για τους περισσότερους!

Mejillones bueníssimos (las 4 variedades que probamos). Es turístico, con mucha gente, algunas mesas muy juntas, algo ruidoso y no barato pero se come muy bien y tiene buen servicio.Mejor reservar antes

He estado dos veces: la primera un 10/10 y la segunda, debido a un "camarero" un poco guarro, lo dejo en un 4/10. Los mejillones están buenos, pero me trajeron un vaso sucio y cuando se lo dije al "camarero" me invitó a que se lo dijera yo al maitre... Luego justificó el vaso sucio a que no llevaba puestas las gafas.

Now there are a lot of patio stops, but avoid the ‘Place’ and get the full vibe, the whole experience. Chez Leon on rue res Bouchers, where the better patio places are, is itself an award winner, a gem. The food, the atmosphere, are amazing. Faisal was welcoming, and courteous. Excellent spot to experience Brussels.

Nous y avons mangé hier le 15 juillet 2024. Un cocktail 🍸 maison. Pour le repas mon mari a pris moules gratinées à l'ail et moi moules façon meunière, accompagné de frites et de mayonnaise faite maison. Un vrai régal. Proportions parfaites pour nous.Le personnel est super réactif et très sympa.Nous recommandons ce restaurant sans aucune hésitation 🤩.

Binnen is het een gezellig kader. Buiten zit je dicht op elkaar. De bediening is zéér snel om je naar binnen te lokken en een tafel toe te wijzen, maar daar stopt het ook. Voor 2 frisdranken bijna 10 minuten gewacht, en alle tafels rond ons kregen eten en wij bleven wachten. Tot we de ober iets hoorden mompelen, en dan was ons eten er. Voor de rekening opnieuw 15 minuten moeten wachten, omdat de ober telkens opnieuw onze tafel vergat. We hebben meermaals excuses gekregen, en dat hij meteen ging langskomen, wat niet het geval was.Spaghetti (saus én pasta) is opgewarmd in microgolf. Steak is aan de kleine kant. Correct gebakken en mals, maar met peperdure saus (€ 4 supplement) die aan de mindere kant was.We zijn zeker niet ontevreden, voor de prijs was het best oké. Maar we staan niet in de rij om hier opnieuw te komen.

Por casualidad pedimos mesa y luego descubrimos que es un lugar con historia. Cominos en la terraza, mesa pequeña para dos, pero con ambiente genial. It's a nice place with great dishes. I was here several times during my trip to Brussels. I ruturn here for lunches and dinners. The service is very dependent on certain waiter. Sometimes it's perfect, sometimes it should be improved.

Chez Léon was a great experience as a traveller on a quick stopover in Brussels. First, with the positives. The menu contained numerous traditional meals, which was what my partner and I wanted while we were in Belgium. Items weren't too expensive either, which was a bonus. Naturally, we ordered the mussels that tasted divine, however they were quite small. All the other food we had was also delicious. As a bonus the place was busy and had a great vibe.One downside for us was the service. With the restaurant so busy, service really slipped and the waiters, divided in their areas seemed stressed.Nevertheless I would recommend.

子どもメニューが無料ということで、軽めに食べようと立ち寄りましたが、一番リーズナブルなムール貝のレオンセットと飲み物だけでは無料の子どもメニューは注文できないと言われ、1人1品と理解して海老クリームコロッケを追加しましたが、それもダメ！レオンセットではなくもっと大きいセットを注文するように言われました😅少し困った顔をすると「私が決めたわけではない。マネージャーが決めたことだ！」と言われ、レオンセットよりも高いムール貝とポテトのセットを注文。子どもメニューはオムレツにポテト、アイスクリームもついていましたが、オムレツは具なしの塩味のみで子どもがほとんど食べず…。(ボロネーゼパスタの方が良かったかも)子どもメニュー無料に釣られて来てしまいましたが、軽食には向いてませんでした。がっつり食べるなら1品のボリュームもありますし、ムール貝も絶品！ほどではないですが美味しかったので、子どもメニュー無料のお得感が感じられると思います。日本人に人気なのか年季の入った日本語メニューも張り出されており(現在はQRコード読み取りで多言語メニューがあります)、店内は広く子ども用椅子もあり、キッズトイレもあり(おむつ台はありません)、子連れも利用しやすいお店です♪

식전빵 주고 안 주고는 인종차별이 아니라 요청하면 주거나 아니면 빵이 함께 나오는 메뉴가 있는 듯 합니다. 옆 테이블 단체 손님은 전부 서양인이었음에도 식전빵이 없더라구요.한국인이 생각하는 엄청 친절!까지는 아녀도 서비스에 군더더기는 없었습니다. 결제할 때 말 없이 팁을 함께 계산하지도 않았고요.홍합찜, 볼로네즈, 양파수프, 라 레옹 맥주를 주문했습니다. 모두 맛있었지만, 볼로네즈는 면이 좀 많이 익은 듯 하였습니다. :)

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The waiter was attentive and very nice. The food was excellent. The cost was great. The facility was very spacious and clean. This is favorite on my list. Furthermore it is very close to what should be a famous Brussels attraction. I am not sure why it doesn't get more attention. The Jeanneke statue. It was because of her that I found the place. Which I only visited by chance.

Foods were just average. I agree with many other reviews here, foods were just okay - not good nor bad. Definately you can find better tasting foods some place else in the city.Ordered:Butter mussels 5/10Grilled chicken 6/10Lasagna 6/10The restaurant is huge, with outdoor seatings, indoors, and upstairs. Even though the waitresses are many, but they seems overwhelmed by the crowds. Hence making the service very slow. You definately will feel being rushed, especially when you seat outdoor. People will just wait your table by seating near your table.Atmosphere is nice, of course. Indoor seating I think is also just as nice of an atmosphere.

I usually don’t write and upload posts like these.However, I will be making an exception.Best food I’ve tasted in a while. First, we were served with some luxury bread and butter. The service was absolutely exquisite. No need to ask for water or more bread, the waiters just bring it to you. We were then served with a meal consisting chicken and fries. This was the highlight of the meal. I was just flabbergasted. You can tell the way the chef is expressing his love with this meal. When tasting the chicken, you can taste and feel all 5 senses working together in harmony. When tasting the fries, you suddenly get a stunning experience that makes you look at the world in a different perspective. The people were so kind and nice and this just lightened up my day. This restaurant is one of the best I have ever eaten in. To finish, I would like to say that this restaurant deserves the best and once I ate there, I could never go back. The overall experience of this restaurant gave me a childhood sensation. I suddenly experienced core memories that I thought were deep in my mind. The complex feelings the food offered allowed me to understand why and how food really has an effect on us, as humans, in this diverse and unique world in which we live in. Was recommended this place by a local. Think he was taking the piss. Decent mussels. Had the ones just steamed with parsley and they were fresh and sweet but the fries are some of the worst I’ve ever had. Cold and stale, not crispy. On the upside, this probably means they don’t have a microwave. Left feeling unsatisfied.

I know why this restaurant has received some poor reviews. Some of the staff could be quite rude but some servers were amazing!We booked our table about 3 weeks ago with a note saying that we have a 1.5 year old. When we arrived at the restaurant on a Friday evening, it was super busy. We were attended very quickly at the door and were instructed to go to the 3rd floor. Our buggy had to be parked at the ground floor. There is a wheelchair/ buggy parking bay.While on our way to the third floor, we were a bit lost trying to figure out where to go. One staff shouted at us (he literally shouted) and asked us to sit down at one of the tables on the 2nd floor. We were puzzled. We then told him that we were told to go to the top floor. He finally calmed a bit and pointed us to the stairs.We were wondering why we were seated on the top floor. It was not easy to go all the way up with a toddler in my arms. But I finally knew why! There was a cozy corner on the top floor where we could avoid the hustle and bustle of the restaurant. Two other tables with young children were seated here too.The table and chairs were all very clean. We were attended very quickly and told that young kids can enjoy a kid’s meal free of charge ! Our server Clementine (hope I have spelt it correctly) was wonderful! She always had a great smile on her face. She was very professional and polite. I could see that she enjoyed her job so much and that made us enjoy our meal very much too!We ordered snails, fried mussels, spaghetti Leon and a pot of mussels with celery and butter. Everything was so good!Overall, come here for the atmosphere, seafood and great service (if you have Clementine). We will certainly come back again if we visit Brussels

A little crowded, too closed to next table. The couple next to our table a little bit awkward. A senior gentleman in another table stared at my friend and I all the time, so rude!However, the food is lovely. I tried Belgium beer actresses recommended. The chips are much better than UK’s.😂

Passage obligé lorsque nous sommes à Bruxelles. Le restaurant est chargé d'histoire, ce qui le rend, un peu (trop) touristique, on sent le volume de client qui y passe chaque jour.Le restaurant est grand (vous êtes quasiment sur d’y trouver une table pour déjeuner), la décoration dans le thème mais beaucoup beaucoup de tables ce qui le rend parfois très bruyant et non intimiste. Il y a aussi beaucoup d’attenteConcernant les plats, c’est bon, pas exceptionnel mais ce qu’on attend lorsque l’on va chez Leon :- Je conseille les moules gratinées et la gaufre en dessert.- Je n’ai pas vraiment apprécié le vol au vent à la volaille, il manquait de gout à mon sens et la présentation laissait à désirer.Bref, y aller pour le cadre et l’expérience car c’est quand même une institution mais rien de plus.

Very touristy, but in a good way! If you are coming to Brussels for a day trip this is a MUST. The food is amazing, the service is great, and everyone speaks english. I had the carbonara, and it was perfect. They also offer a great little special for those who are wanting to try all the great food of Brussels, where you can get mussels, fries, and a beer for €18. Highly recommend for a day trip where you want to get all the Brussels foods!

Muy recomendable. Evidentemente no vale un menu del Mcdonalds. Pero solo el servicio, rapidez y la calidad de la comida lo valen.

かなり遅いランチで行ったので空いてました。が、キッチンの方も休憩中かと思うくらい、オーダーしてから待ちました。ムール貝鍋、たっぷりいただきました。美味しいですしボリュームたっぷり。ポテトも付いてきました。店頭の方の感じは良いですが、店内の方は全然違う対応でした。

Nous y avons mangé hier le 15 juillet 2024. Un cocktail 🍸 maison. Pour le repas mon mari a pris moules gratinées à l'ail et moi moules façon meunière, accompagné de frites et de mayonnaise faite maison. Un vrai régal. Proportions parfaites pour nous.Le personnel est super réactif et très sympa.Nous recommandons ce restaurant sans aucune hésitation 🤩.

Binnen is het een gezellig kader. Buiten zit je dicht op elkaar. De bediening is zéér snel om je naar binnen te lokken en een tafel toe te wijzen, maar daar stopt het ook. Voor 2 frisdranken bijna 10 minuten gewacht, en alle tafels rond ons kregen eten en wij bleven wachten. Tot we de ober iets hoorden mompelen, en dan was ons eten er. Voor de rekening opnieuw 15 minuten moeten wachten, omdat de ober telkens opnieuw onze tafel vergat. We hebben meermaals excuses gekregen, en dat hij meteen ging langskomen, wat niet het geval was.Spaghetti (saus én pasta) is opgewarmd in microgolf. Steak is aan de kleine kant. Correct gebakken en mals, maar met peperdure saus (€ 4 supplement) die aan de mindere kant was.We zijn zeker niet ontevreden, voor de prijs was het best oké. Maar we staan niet in de rij om hier opnieuw te komen.

Por casualidad pedimos mesa y luego descubrimos que es un lugar con historia. Cominos en la terraza, mesa pequeña para dos, pero con ambiente genial. It's a nice place with great dishes. I was here several times during my trip to Brussels. I ruturn here for lunches and dinners. The service is very dependent on certain waiter. Sometimes it's perfect, sometimes it should be improved.

Chez Léon was a great experience as a traveller on a quick stopover in Brussels. First, with the positives. The menu contained numerous traditional meals, which was what my partner and I wanted while we were in Belgium. Items weren't too expensive either, which was a bonus. Naturally, we ordered the mussels that tasted divine, however they were quite small. All the other food we had was also delicious. As a bonus the place was busy and had a great vibe.One downside for us was the service. With the restaurant so busy, service really slipped and the waiters, divided in their areas seemed stressed.Nevertheless I would recommend.

子どもメニューが無料ということで、軽めに食べようと立ち寄りましたが、一番リーズナブルなムール貝のレオンセットと飲み物だけでは無料の子どもメニューは注文できないと言われ、1人1品と理解して海老クリームコロッケを追加しましたが、それもダメ！レオンセットではなくもっと大きいセットを注文するように言われました😅少し困った顔をすると「私が決めたわけではない。マネージャーが決めたことだ！」と言われ、レオンセットよりも高いムール貝とポテトのセットを注文。子どもメニューはオムレツにポテト、アイスクリームもついていましたが、オムレツは具なしの塩味のみで子どもがほとんど食べず…。(ボロネーゼパスタの方が良かったかも)子どもメニュー無料に釣られて来てしまいましたが、軽食には向いてませんでした。がっつり食べるなら1品のボリュームもありますし、ムール貝も絶品！ほどではないですが美味しかったので、子どもメニュー無料のお得感が感じられると思います。日本人に人気なのか年季の入った日本語メニューも張り出されており(現在はQRコード読み取りで多言語メニューがあります)、店内は広く子ども用椅子もあり、キッズトイレもあり(おむつ台はありません)、子連れも利用しやすいお店です♪

식전빵 주고 안 주고는 인종차별이 아니라 요청하면 주거나 아니면 빵이 함께 나오는 메뉴가 있는 듯 합니다. 옆 테이블 단체 손님은 전부 서양인이었음에도 식전빵이 없더라구요.한국인이 생각하는 엄청 친절!까지는 아녀도 서비스에 군더더기는 없었습니다. 결제할 때 말 없이 팁을 함께 계산하지도 않았고요.홍합찜, 볼로네즈, 양파수프, 라 레옹 맥주를 주문했습니다. 모두 맛있었지만, 볼로네즈는 면이 좀 많이 익은 듯 하였습니다. :)

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The waiter was attentive and very nice. The food was excellent. The cost was great. The facility was very spacious and clean. This is favorite on my list. Furthermore it is very close to what should be a famous Brussels attraction. I am not sure why it doesn't get more attention. The Jeanneke statue. It was because of her that I found the place. Which I only visited by chance.

Ordered mussel a la crème. Lot of grit in the mussels. Not washed properly? Sauce was okay but short on creaminess. Server asked us for a tip after he found out we were from America.

Foods were just average. I agree with many other reviews here, foods were just okay - not good nor bad. Definately you can find better tasting foods some place else in the city.Ordered:Butter mussels 5/10Grilled chicken 6/10Lasagna 6/10The restaurant is huge, with outdoor seatings, indoors, and upstairs. Even though the waitresses are many, but they seems overwhelmed by the crowds. Hence making the service very slow. You definately will feel being rushed, especially when you seat outdoor. People will just wait your table by seating near your table.Atmosphere is nice, of course. Indoor seating I think is also just as nice of an atmosphere.

I usually don’t write and upload posts like these.However, I will be making an exception.Best food I’ve tasted in a while. First, we were served with some luxury bread and butter. The service was absolutely exquisite. No need to ask for water or more bread, the waiters just bring it to you. We were then served with a meal consisting chicken and fries. This was the highlight of the meal. I was just flabbergasted. You can tell the way the chef is expressing his love with this meal. When tasting the chicken, you can taste and feel all 5 senses working together in harmony. When tasting the fries, you suddenly get a stunning experience that makes you look at the world in a different perspective. The people were so kind and nice and this just lightened up my day. This restaurant is one of the best I have ever eaten in. To finish, I would like to say that this restaurant deserves the best and once I ate there, I could never go back. The overall experience of this restaurant gave me a childhood sensation. I suddenly experienced core memories that I thought were deep in my mind. The complex feelings the food offered allowed me to understand why and how food really has an effect on us, as humans, in this diverse and unique world in which we live in. Was recommended this place by a local. Think he was taking the piss. Decent mussels. Had the ones just steamed with parsley and they were fresh and sweet but the fries are some of the worst I’ve ever had. Cold and stale, not crispy. On the upside, this probably means they don’t have a microwave. Left feeling unsatisfied.

I know why this restaurant has received some poor reviews. Some of the staff could be quite rude but some servers were amazing!We booked our table about 3 weeks ago with a note saying that we have a 1.5 year old. When we arrived at the restaurant on a Friday evening, it was super busy. We were attended very quickly at the door and were instructed to go to the 3rd floor. Our buggy had to be parked at the ground floor. There is a wheelchair/ buggy parking bay.While on our way to the third floor, we were a bit lost trying to figure out where to go. One staff shouted at us (he literally shouted) and asked us to sit down at one of the tables on the 2nd floor. We were puzzled. We then told him that we were told to go to the top floor. He finally calmed a bit and pointed us to the stairs.We were wondering why we were seated on the top floor. It was not easy to go all the way up with a toddler in my arms. But I finally knew why! There was a cozy corner on the top floor where we could avoid the hustle and bustle of the restaurant. Two other tables with young children were seated here too.The table and chairs were all very clean. We were attended very quickly and told that young kids can enjoy a kid’s meal free of charge ! Our server Clementine (hope I have spelt it correctly) was wonderful! She always had a great smile on her face. She was very professional and polite. I could see that she enjoyed her job so much and that made us enjoy our meal very much too!We ordered snails, fried mussels, spaghetti Leon and a pot of mussels with celery and butter. Everything was so good!Overall, come here for the atmosphere, seafood and great service (if you have Clementine). We will certainly come back again if we visit Brussels

A little crowded, too closed to next table. The couple next to our table a little bit awkward. A senior gentleman in another table stared at my friend and I all the time, so rude!However, the food is lovely. I tried Belgium beer actresses recommended. The chips are much better than UK’s.😂

Passage obligé lorsque nous sommes à Bruxelles. Le restaurant est chargé d'histoire, ce qui le rend, un peu (trop) touristique, on sent le volume de client qui y passe chaque jour.Le restaurant est grand (vous êtes quasiment sur d’y trouver une table pour déjeuner), la décoration dans le thème mais beaucoup beaucoup de tables ce qui le rend parfois très bruyant et non intimiste. Il y a aussi beaucoup d’attenteConcernant les plats, c’est bon, pas exceptionnel mais ce qu’on attend lorsque l’on va chez Leon :- Je conseille les moules gratinées et la gaufre en dessert.- Je n’ai pas vraiment apprécié le vol au vent à la volaille, il manquait de gout à mon sens et la présentation laissait à désirer.Bref, y aller pour le cadre et l’expérience car c’est quand même une institution mais rien de plus.

We had a lovely dinner. We were 4 and the place was super busy. The staff were very friendly and efficient despite the number of people. The food was fantastic, we had mussels, and couple of other dishes, all were excellent.Strongly recommended.

Very touristy, but in a good way! If you are coming to Brussels for a day trip this is a MUST. The food is amazing, the service is great, and everyone speaks english. I had the carbonara, and it was perfect. They also offer a great little special for those who are wanting to try all the great food of Brussels, where you can get mussels, fries, and a beer for €18. Highly recommend for a day trip where you want to get all the Brussels foods!
