De passe dans ce restaurant nous nous sommes laissés tenter par la carbonade flamande et c’était un délice, la viande était tendre j’ai moins apprécié les frites. La planches à partager était également bonne.

Chez Léon is a historic restaurant in Brussels with over a century of operation, located just a short walk from the iconic Grand Place. It’s a cozy spot with a warm, inviting interior, making it a great place to enjoy classic Belgian cuisine.Their menu offers a good range of seafood dishes, with their signature mussels pot being a must-try. We opted for the wine and herbs flavor, and the mussels were fresh and well-cooked. While they were delicious, we’ve had even better ones elsewhere. A highlight, though, is that the fries served with the mussels are refillable, which is a nice touch!We also tried the fisherman’s soup, which, despite its simple presentation, was bursting with flavor. Adding the side cheddar cheese and garlic butter takes it to another level—highly recommended!Service-wise, it’s not too bad. The staff are friendly, can speak simple English, and manage to communicate well with tourists. Despite the busy lunch hours, food was served in a timely manner, which we appreciated.But during our visit, their card payment machine is "faulty" base on what our waiter told us... we almost have to pay cash. But somehow we manage to get a card payment done. We feel, for a welknown restaurant and popular by the tourist, they should ne prepared for more than one card machine to prevent such incident happening again.Another downside is, the waiter actually ask us for a tip openly and europe is not a tip cultured country. Nevertheless, we still give him a small tips. But was surprise by that gesture from the waiter.Overall, Chez Léon is a solid choice for a classic Belgian seafood experience, especially for tourists exploring the Grand Place area. It may not have the absolute best mussels we’ve ever had, but it’s still a great place to enjoy traditional flavors in a historic setting.

I loved this place for many reasons. First of all, yes it is a bit more pricey than some other restaurants but it is one of the city’s really old restaurants - in the touristic old town so it is normal. The interior decoration reminds you that it is a traditional, old-school restaurant. But also they have vegetarian (soy) steak! The fries were good! Their house beer (Leon) was very good! Staff was very polite. We did not have to wait in the queue or to place orders or to have our food. All was good! I’d go again!

La plupart ont mangés des moules qui étaient très bonnes, par contre la côte de porc une horreur, j'aurais pu assommer le serveur avec, comme j'avais trop faim, je l'ai coupé très fine avec beaucoup de mayonnaise pour que ça passe!

Lugar con solera en Bruselas, con muy buenos mejillones aunque hemos probado otros también muy ricos. Sí te gustan los mejillones y los sitios muy típicos y con renombre, lo recomiendo. Moules mariniére muy buenos.

Harika bir mekan, kalabalık dostlarla gittiğinizde de iki ya da tek kişi gittiğinizde de rahat edersiniz. Yemekleri özellikle midye çeşitleri çok lezzetli. Kendi biraları da keza öyle. Küçük bir kapıdan girip ummadığınız büyüklükte bir mekan, siz içeri girdikçe, içerde ilerledikçe adeta büyüyor. Servis hızı ve kalitesi çok iyi. Brüksel’e gelip de buraya uğramadan gidilmez.

On est arrivés à 15 chez Léon, et on a été reçus comme des rois ! Des moules-frites comme on les aime, des crèmes brûlées et dames blanches pour finir en beauté, et en bonus… des bières offertes ! L’ambiance était au top, le service nickel, bref, une vraie belle soirée bruxelloise comme on les adore. Si vous cherchez une bonne adresse où bien manger et passer un super moment, foncez !

The food was average. It does not value the hype you hear about it. It was my Spaghetti Léon was saltless and the mussels had a strong flavor of sea water.The atmosphere is very comfortable, but it could have been better if there was a low music playing. The waiter was kind at first when we greet him, but he became slightly hostile when we asked if we could speak English.Overall, it's an average restaurant in Brussels.

El valor de la reseña es sobre todo por la atención que hemos tenido del personal. Cabe mencionarlo porque han sido muy atentos, especialmente Paul. La comida estaba buenísima , ciertamente puede ser de los mejores sitios para comer la comida típica de Bruselas. Vinimos por recomendación de unos amigos que estuvieron aquí. Sin duda repetiremos. Recomiendo los mejillones y la Carbonade

They have a really kind and hardworking team and I they made the food more delicious with their uplifting personalities. I had the mussels and they were well cooked and had just the perfect amount of salt, the broth was really flavorful. Good portion for the price. It’s very popular. We didn’t make appointment in advance but luckily we were able to get the last table there. They serves Belgian food especially the mussels. You can choose the sauce with plenty of choices. Frites is served as a side. The staffs were nice. The there are rentable chargers.

Found this restaurant thru the recommendation of Rick Steves Traveling Belgium book. He described it as a legendary mussels factory slamming out buckets of mussels since 1893 so had to try it. Loved the atmosphere and service! Super nice staff, great beer and food, and great prices!

Locale storico,cibo buono,in modo particolare le cozze gratinate al formaggio e la tartare.L’ambiente è molto particolare, per evitare la fila esterna conviene prenotare sul loro sito. Accettano anche cani di piccola taglia, il che non è scontato per questa città.

유명한만큼 가볼만했습니다. 마감시간 1시간 전인 10시에 도착했는데, 1시간만에 즐기기에도 충분했습니다. 직원분들도 아주 친절했네요. 홍합찜은 아주 맛있었고, 해산물 크림파스타는 해산물 맛보다 크림맛이 강하여 살짝 아쉬웠습니다.

One of the famous restaurants in Brussels. We booked in advance and skipped the long queue outside. It was very busy and lively inside the restaurant. Took a while to get served with menu and order as our waiter was super busy. He’s super friendly and lovely though so couldn’t fault him. We had mussels and seafood platter. It was average as we’ve had better somewhere else in Brussels. Crepe for dessert which was nice. Then we waited for another half hour after our meal to be served again as it was just very busy. Overall I think it worths visiting if you have booking, it’s nice if you’re a tourist and want to try something typical. I wouldn’t queue up to get in.

No idea why the ratings were less than 4, but i definitely liked the food, service, and the friendliness of the staff. Price was average. Ordered appetizer, onion soup and the mussels and everything was good. My wife even asked for extra bread and we weren’t charged for it. It was crowded but there was no delay in service. I recommend this place

Chez Leonでムール貝をいただきました。昨日訪れたこの店の正面の有名店に比べると、価格は非常にリーズナブルで、コストパフォーマンスの良さを感じました。ムール貝は少し小ぶりでしたが、味は非常に美味しく、十分に満足できました。また、お客さんの約7割がアジア人だったことには驚きました。観光客にも人気があるお店のようです。リーズナブルに美味しいムール貝を楽しみたい方にはおすすめです！

食物普普通通、價格還算合理、但是有一個駝背留mustache腳微跛的老外場態度偏差，客滿跟後面要來的人一小時後，結果後來有位子直接放後進來的人進來；然後淡菜的殼記得全部都要放盤子上，像台灣辦桌熱炒那樣放桌上會被鬍子老哥爆噴加上把盤子甩桌上^_^×

El valor de la reseña es sobre todo por la atención que hemos tenido del personal. Cabe mencionarlo porque han sido muy atentos, especialmente Paul. La comida estaba buenísima , ciertamente puede ser de los mejores sitios para comer la comida típica de Bruselas. Vinimos por recomendación de unos amigos que estuvieron aquí. Sin duda repetiremos. Recomiendo los mejillones y la Carbonade

Thank you so much to the team of Leon! Especially Jimmy he's the best, I had a really great time thanks to you! They have a really kind and hardworking team and I they made the food more delicious with their uplifting personalities. I had the mussels and they were well cooked and had just the perfect amount of salt, the broth was really flavorful. Good portion for the price. I will surely come back to this adress, great food and amazing people! 👏 Thanks again to Jimmy and Antoine 🙏

It’s very popular. We didn’t make appointment in advance but luckily we were able to get the last table there. They serves Belgian food especially the mussels. You can choose the sauce with plenty of choices. Frites is served as a side. The staffs were nice. The there are rentable chargers.

Found this restaurant thru the recommendation of Rick Steves Traveling Belgium book. He described it as a legendary mussels factory slamming out buckets of mussels since 1893 so had to try it. Loved the atmosphere and service! Super nice staff, great beer and food, and great prices!

Locale storico,cibo buono,in modo particolare le cozze gratinate al formaggio e la tartare.L’ambiente è molto particolare, per evitare la fila esterna conviene prenotare sul loro sito. Accettano anche cani di piccola taglia, il che non è scontato per questa città.

유명한만큼 가볼만했습니다. 마감시간 1시간 전인 10시에 도착했는데, 1시간만에 즐기기에도 충분했습니다. 직원분들도 아주 친절했네요. 홍합찜은 아주 맛있었고, 해산물 크림파스타는 해산물 맛보다 크림맛이 강하여 살짝 아쉬웠습니다.

Een bistro met lekker eten, niets bijzonders, maar om de diversiteit te waarderen. Je kunt er goed eten, in tegenstelling tot andere zeer toeristische locaties die vermeden moeten worden. ベルギーの名物、ムール貝とフレンチフライを食べてきました！！ベルギービールもつけたセットのメニューがあり、そちらを選びました。どちらもすごく美味しかったです😊ベルギーのフレンチフライはフワフワ、ホカホカで他とは一味違い、舌鼓を打ちました！友人はカルボナーラを食べており、そちらもすごく美味しかったのでおすすめです！

One of the famous restaurants in Brussels. We booked in advance and skipped the long queue outside. It was very busy and lively inside the restaurant. Took a while to get served with menu and order as our waiter was super busy. He’s super friendly and lovely though so couldn’t fault him. We had mussels and seafood platter. It was average as we’ve had better somewhere else in Brussels. Crepe for dessert which was nice. Then we waited for another half hour after our meal to be served again as it was just very busy. Overall I think it worths visiting if you have booking, it’s nice if you’re a tourist and want to try something typical. I wouldn’t queue up to get in.

Les plats sont très bons et typiques de la régions. En revanche service très long et serveurs pas forcément à l’écoute voire même désagréables… dommage car c’est goûteux et le restaurant est chaleureux…

Restoranın atmosferi ve çalışanları çok iyi. Ana yemekler de leziz; fakat soğan çorbasının bageti tam kızarmamıştı ve çorba yeterince fırınlanmamıştı, soğanlar diriydi. Waffle ise olması gerekenden fazla pişmişti, yanık tadı geliyordu.

Un restaurant vraiment agréable, avec une ambiance conviviale et un service au top. Les plats sont délicieux, bien présentés, et préparés avec des produits de qualité. Une belle adresse que je recommande sans hésiter !

Sıra beklemedik. Mekan oldukça güzel ve otantik. Garson biraz umursamazdı haftasonu olduğu için olabilir oldukça kalabalıktı. Midyeler genel olarak güzel İstiridyeyi pek beğenemedim.

No idea why the ratings were less than 4, but i definitely liked the food, service, and the friendliness of the staff. Price was average. Ordered appetizer, onion soup and the mussels and everything was good. My wife even asked for extra bread and we weren’t charged for it. It was crowded but there was no delay in service. I recommend this place

Chez Leonでムール貝をいただきました。昨日訪れたこの店の正面の有名店に比べると、価格は非常にリーズナブルで、コストパフォーマンスの良さを感じました。ムール貝は少し小ぶりでしたが、味は非常に美味しく、十分に満足できました。また、お客さんの約7割がアジア人だったことには驚きました。観光客にも人気があるお店のようです。リーズナブルに美味しいムール貝を楽しみたい方にはおすすめです！

食物普普通通、價格還算合理、但是有一個駝背留mustache腳微跛的老外場態度偏差，客滿跟後面要來的人一小時後，結果後來有位子直接放後進來的人進來；然後淡菜的殼記得全部都要放盤子上，像台灣辦桌熱炒那樣放桌上會被鬍子老哥爆噴加上把盤子甩桌上^_^
