Simple et efficace! Venus à l improviste trouver un refuge rapide pour un déjeuner en centre-ville, Léon a fait le taffe. Le cadre authentique du lieu est quelque peu bouleversé par l'organisation militaire d un service quasi industriel. Les prix pratiqués sont chers mais les plats simples de la formule lunch étaient ce que nous étions venus chercher. 5,5euros pour une bouteille de 33cl d eau est un peu abusé...

Clásico absoluto de Bruselas que cumple y supera expectativas. Chez Léon es una parada obligada si quieres probar cocina belga tradicional bien ejecutada, en un ambiente animado y con mucho carácter.La comida es consistente y sabrosa, con especial protagonismo de los platos típicos. Las mejillones con papas fritas están muy bien preparadas, las porciones son generosas y los ingredientes se sienten frescos. Todo llega a la mesa en buen tiempo, incluso cuando el restaurante está lleno.El servicio es ágil y eficiente, acostumbrado al volumen de clientes pero sin perder la cordialidad. El ambiente es el de una brasserie clásica, viva, turística pero auténtica, ideal para una primera visita a la ciudad.En resumen, una experiencia muy completa: buena comida, buen servicio y una atmósfera que refleja perfectamente el espíritu gastronómico de Bruselas. Abbiamo scelto le cozze al burro e aglio. Condimento buono ma le cozze erano come gommose. Ci hanno portato il conto da pagare con pos ma senza il dettaglio delle voci. Su richiesta ne hanno prodotto uno parziale.... comunque il totale corrispondeva più o meno a quanto richiesta. Abbiamo sorvolato solo perché erano le 23,30 della sera di S. Silvestro ed il personale era visibilmente stanco. Servizio veloce e puntuale ma non tornerei, troppo turistico.

期待しすぎていたのかそこまで美味しく無かった。テーブルの担当ウェイターが決まっており他のウェイターに頼んでも受け入れてもらえず頼むのにも時間がかかりました。店の雰囲気は活気があり良かったです。ムール貝も小さかった。

Restaurant looked crowded so we went in to give a try. We were greeted warmly and served by a friendly server, 013 MoMo, who gave recommendations and suggested we order the big classic mussels. thoroughly enjoyed our meal and special shout out to the great service from momo!!! i love belgium! 🇧🇪

The restaurant has a nice, cosy atmosphere, and the staff were very polite, friendly, and humorous, making our dining experience enjoyable. The food was well prepared with good flavour and portion sizes. One dish, similar to Asian-style frog legs, was especially impressive with an excellent sauce. Overall, the pricing is reasonable and we had a lovely time dining here.

Got in ready to have a great meal and wasn't disappointed. The service was great which is a credit as they were quite packed but could handle the volume. They attended to me promptly, from being given the menu, taking the order, serving and payment. They have a great selection of meals, sea food etc . I'll highly recommend.

Very good food, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. There were three of us and we wanted to pay separately; we already had the bill sorted out, but the waiter didn’t want to allow it out of laziness. Only after we said we would go to the ATM did he agree, clearly because he didn’t want to split the bill. He was also a bit drowsy and somewhat rude. Everything else was very good. (His name was Jimmy.)

You can't come to Brussels without trying Moules-Frites (Mussels & Fries). We decided to visit Chez Leon to indulge in this popular Belgian cuisine. I'm a big fan of mussels at home, so I knew that I'd enjoy them here. We tried the pot roasted Mussels, which is kind of traditional, the fried Mussels (En friture) served with tarter sauce and the Mussels baked with butter, garlic, tomato and cheese (Moules Provençale / Provençaalse). The latter were truly superb. I'd never tried Mussels this way before, but I thoroughly enjoyed them paired with crispy, golden fries and a crisp, chilled beer.The wait staff was welcoming and friendly upon entry. Once seated, the wait for service was a bit slow to start, but it was pretty busy. The atmosphere was pretty energetic, but also warm and comfortable. I recommend checking out this Chez Leon when in Brussels.

El lugar es enorme, un laberinto de salones con muchísimas mesas. Hay muchos camareros pero no nos atendieron con rapidez inicialmente ni al acabar, tuvimos que esperar bastante a pesar de no estar muy lleno. Los mejillones ricos y la carne asada también, pero el precio del plato de carne no correspondía con los 5 trozos que nos sirvieron, 5€ el trozo..Me sentí engañada, la verdad.

Nous sommes venus un dimanche soir car nous avons vu par hasard, la veille sur la porte en tout petit, que les moules frites étaient à volonté le dimanche. Cette information n'est pas mentionnée dans le menu et le personnel ne vous le dit pas c'est à vous de le réclamer si vous le savez ! Donc c'est quand même malhonnête cette façon de faire. Quoi qu'il en soit les moules étaient très bonnes et le vol au vent de volaille délicieux.

Our family of 3 was seated immediately without a reservation at 5:30pm on a Monday. We ordered the Plancha, Grilled Sole and, of course, Mussels (when in Rome, right?) Bustling atmosphere with very good food but, honestly, it didn't cross the threshold to great. Regardless, we're still glad we popped in. Menu isn't in English but there are photos of some items which made it simple to point and order. The loo was a hike up numerous stair levels and the urine smell in the girls' room was gross.

Ortam çok güzeldi. Biz kızarmış midye ve kalamar yedik hem lezzetliydi hem de yağlı değildi. Fiyatları çevreye göre bir tık daha pahalı ama o ortam için uygundu. Brüksele gitmişken denenmesi gereken bir yer. İngilizce menüleri yok. Kendi biraları Leon da lezzetliydi.

Fui ao Chez Léon em Bruxelas e adorei a experiência! O ambiente é muito acolhedor e típico, perfeito para quem quer provar a gastronomia belga tradicional. Comi mexilhões com batatas fritas, que estavam excelentes, muito bem confecionados e cheios de sabor. O serviço foi rápido e simpático, mesmo com o restaurante bastante cheio. Uma paragem obrigatória em Bruxelas para quem gosta de boa comida e um ambiente autêntico. Recomendo vivamente!

Fui a almorzar un lunes al mediodía. Había bastante lugar disponible, aunque sugiero reservar con antelación.La atención fue muy amable y cuentan con carta en varios idiomas, inclusive en español.Las opciones del menú son muy variadas. En mi caso pedí salchichas con stoemp, que estaban muy buenas y en una porción abundante. Mi pareja pidió un “bistec” de soja con verduras y queso y quedó decepcionada, ya que era básicamente un medallón empanado sin demasiado sabor.Me sorprendió un poco el tiempo de espera para que trajeran la comida, aunque sospecho que pudo deberse a no haber pedido algo “típico” del lugar.En resumen, me gustó 🤓!

Food are great. We ordered the mussels with cheese and herbs, and with tomato and cheese, pasta ad the waffle Léon. The welcome of the server was great at first but never checked us back while having our meal. I metioned this because he's checked the other tables (table spaces are near, you'll notice easily). We have to get his attention if we need something or to get additional order.The hosts were nice though.We just walked in here because it's before 6PM. It gets busy during dinner, I suggest to book a table beforehand.The prices are reasonable as well.

I visited Chez Léon in Brussels recently. The food was not bad and the portion sizes were very generous, so there’s no real complaint on the food side.However, the service was extremely poor and left a very bad impression. Our waiter was an older man with grey/white hair and glasses, and his attitude was unacceptable. We weren’t given mayo with our fries, while the two neighbouring tables (white customers) received it without even asking. When we ordered only one drink (I had a cold and didn’t want one), he immediately looked annoyed and became cold towards us.When it came time to pay, it got even worse—he threw the bill down in a rude manner instead of handing it to us politely. Because of this behaviour, we did not leave a tip.Overall, the food is fine, but the service and the way we were treated means I would not recommend this place.×

Got in ready to have a great meal and wasn't disappointed. The service was great which is a credit as they were quite packed but could handle the volume. They attended to me promptly, from being given the menu, taking the order, serving and payment. They have a great selection of meals, sea food etc . I'll highly recommend.

Comida normal, abarrotado de personas y a pesar de tanta gente te sirven rápido, los meseros hacen todo lo que pueden por atender bien. Lugar muy turístico, a pesar de ello el costo por lo ofrecido es muy bueno.

Very good food, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. There were three of us and we wanted to pay separately; we already had the bill sorted out, but the waiter didn’t want to allow it out of laziness. Only after we said we would go to the ATM did he agree, clearly because he didn’t want to split the bill. He was also a bit drowsy and somewhat rude. Everything else was very good. (His name was Jimmy.)

You can't come to Brussels without trying Moules-Frites (Mussels & Fries). We decided to visit Chez Leon to indulge in this popular Belgian cuisine. I'm a big fan of mussels at home, so I knew that I'd enjoy them here. We tried the pot roasted Mussels, which is kind of traditional, the fried Mussels (En friture) served with tarter sauce and the Mussels baked with butter, garlic, tomato and cheese (Moules Provençale / Provençaalse). The latter were truly superb. I'd never tried Mussels this way before, but I thoroughly enjoyed them paired with crispy, golden fries and a crisp, chilled beer.The wait staff was welcoming and friendly upon entry. Once seated, the wait for service was a bit slow to start, but it was pretty busy. The atmosphere was pretty energetic, but also warm and comfortable. I recommend checking out this Chez Leon when in Brussels.

El lugar es enorme, un laberinto de salones con muchísimas mesas. Hay muchos camareros pero no nos atendieron con rapidez inicialmente ni al acabar, tuvimos que esperar bastante a pesar de no estar muy lleno. Los mejillones ricos y la carne asada también, pero el precio del plato de carne no correspondía con los 5 trozos que nos sirvieron, 5€ el trozo..Me sentí engañada, la verdad.

Nous sommes venus un dimanche soir car nous avons vu par hasard, la veille sur la porte en tout petit, que les moules frites étaient à volonté le dimanche. Cette information n'est pas mentionnée dans le menu et le personnel ne vous le dit pas c'est à vous de le réclamer si vous le savez ! Donc c'est quand même malhonnête cette façon de faire. Quoi qu'il en soit les moules étaient très bonnes et le vol au vent de volaille délicieux.

Our family of 3 was seated immediately without a reservation at 5:30pm on a Monday. We ordered the Plancha, Grilled Sole and, of course, Mussels (when in Rome, right?) Bustling atmosphere with very good food but, honestly, it didn't cross the threshold to great. Regardless, we're still glad we popped in. Menu isn't in English but there are photos of some items which made it simple to point and order. The loo was a hike up numerous stair levels and the urine smell in the girls' room was gross.

Ortam çok güzeldi. Biz kızarmış midye ve kalamar yedik hem lezzetliydi hem de yağlı değildi. Fiyatları çevreye göre bir tık daha pahalı ama o ortam için uygundu. Brüksele gitmişken denenmesi gereken bir yer. İngilizce menüleri yok. Kendi biraları Leon da lezzetliydi.

Fui ao Chez Léon em Bruxelas e adorei a experiência! O ambiente é muito acolhedor e típico, perfeito para quem quer provar a gastronomia belga tradicional. Comi mexilhões com batatas fritas, que estavam excelentes, muito bem confecionados e cheios de sabor. O serviço foi rápido e simpático, mesmo com o restaurante bastante cheio. Uma paragem obrigatória em Bruxelas para quem gosta de boa comida e um ambiente autêntico. Recomendo vivamente!

Fui a almorzar un lunes al mediodía. Había bastante lugar disponible, aunque sugiero reservar con antelación.La atención fue muy amable y cuentan con carta en varios idiomas, inclusive en español.Las opciones del menú son muy variadas. En mi caso pedí salchichas con stoemp, que estaban muy buenas y en una porción abundante. Mi pareja pidió un “bistec” de soja con verduras y queso y quedó decepcionada, ya que era básicamente un medallón empanado sin demasiado sabor.Me sorprendió un poco el tiempo de espera para que trajeran la comida, aunque sospecho que pudo deberse a no haber pedido algo “típico” del lugar.En resumen, me gustó 🤓!

Nada más llegar no puedes tener una mesa, más si llegas a la hora de comer, es comprensible, pero llamar al camarero y que sientas que te ignore hace sentir muy mal a cualquiera, la comida excelente, la variedad del menú y todas las lenguas que sabe todo el personal, da gusto comer aquí, muy top! , Nunca había comido langosta, me gustó mucho

Très bel endroit, spécialités belges en mode brasserie. Cadre et personnel sympathique, service rapide et impeccable, tarifs abordables. Point d'amélioration, mais simple détail, je m'attendais à avoir du pain de meilleure qualité et moins "industriel".

Super lekkere Vlaams stoofvlees met bier klaar gemaakt. Ook de Brusselse wafel let slagroom was een fijnproevers. Zeker een aanrader om halt te houden. Eveneens was het een vlotte bediening door zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Food are great. We ordered the mussels with cheese and herbs, and with tomato and cheese, pasta ad the waffle Léon. The welcome of the server was great at first but never checked us back while having our meal. I metioned this because he's checked the other tables (table spaces are near, you'll notice easily). We have to get his attention if we need something or to get additional order.The hosts were nice though.We just walked in here because it's before 6PM. It gets busy during dinner, I suggest to book a table beforehand.The prices are reasonable as well.

decent food, but a bit underwhelming. the vibe is pretty rushed with how busy it is, and the prices are quite expensive. would recommend going to a less touristy place for a nicer and cheaper meal

Balık restorantı olmasına rağmen sadece kız arkadaşım söyledi diye limon sorbesi yemeye gittik. Yediğim en güzel limon sorbesiydi, şiddetle tavsiye ederim!! Kız arkadaşım mideyi yakmadığını belirtti.😊 Waffle’da güzeldi. Atmosfer harikaydı.

I visited Chez Léon in Brussels recently. The food was not bad and the portion sizes were very generous, so there’s no real complaint on the food side.However, the service was extremely poor and left a very bad impression. Our waiter was an older man with grey/white hair and glasses, and his attitude was unacceptable. We weren’t given mayo with our fries, while the two neighbouring tables (white customers) received it without even asking. When we ordered only one drink (I had a cold and didn’t want one), he immediately looked annoyed and became cold towards us.When it came time to pay, it got even worse—he threw the bill down in a rude manner instead of handing it to us politely. Because of this behaviour, we did not leave a tip.Overall, the food is fine, but the service and the way we were treated means I would not recommend this place.
