Jacques Brel
Jacques Romain Georges Brel, born 1929, died 1978, was a Belgian singer, songwriter, actor and director who composed and performed literate, thoughtful, theatrical songs that generated a large, devoted following – initially in Belgium and France, later throughout the world. He was widely considered a master of the modern chanson and sold over 25 million records worldwide.
When his health began to fail due to cancer, he decided to live in the Marquesas Islands.
He died of a pulmonary embolism on 9 October 1978 at the age of 49.
For the first and only time in its history, the Brel Foundation agreed to collaborate with a commercial undertaking: “Chez Léon”.
The opening of the Léon restaurant on the Champs-Elysées was entirely Brel-themed: the invitation, a film of his last concert at the Paris Olympia, and above all a special 3000-copy numbered edition of a CD with logo issued by the Brel family for the Vanlancker family.

14:00左右進去用餐，客人沒有很多所以服務員速度蠻快的也很親切，餐點也很快就上齊了淡菜義大利麵真的很好吃 因為海鮮本身有鹹味所以麵跟醬汁本體味道蠻淡的，夾在一起吃的話口味剛剛好！然後裡面的蝦米真的給超多！！

Back here after 10 years, it’s my all-time favourite to enjoy the Brussels’ classic fare - mussels! It looks like a tourist trap, but it’s really not. The dishes are reasonably priced and the house beer is awesome. Excellent customer service by the staff as well!

Franchement rien à redire! Les quantités sont énormes et pour le prix c’est un bon deal. Mais la personne qui m’impressionne le plus, c’est la personne à l’accueil! Ça doit bien faire dix ans (ou plus) que je viens sporadiquement chez Léon, et c’est toujours lui qui nous offre un accueil impeccable et en bonus il ne semble même pas vieillir!

Nous avons passé un très agréable moment en famille. Accueil et service chaleureux, qualité des mets irréprochable. Et que dire de la sympathie du personnel! Le temps passé chez Léon était exceptionnel. Les enfants sont conquis par les serveurs kids friendly. Nous y reviendrons à chacune de nos venues sur Bxl. Encore un tout grand merci. Ce fut fantastique! A très bientôt.

老店生意非常好麵包很好吃抹上奶油很搭可惜是冷的前菜蕈菇湯很濃郁好喝也可以沾麵包旁邊的畫很有趣是用淡菜作畫等上菜的時候看一下蠻有趣主菜有一道魚排外面酥酥的裡面很嫩很好吃接下來就是主角淡菜有人一鍋的份量好驚人加上芹菜跟白酒燉煮很好吃很鮮甜也沒有腥味吃完甜點的布丁都快要吃不下了很飽足的一餐

Best mussels I’ve had in my life. We did not have a reservation so we got here right when the restaurant opened. We ordered Mussels Gratin which is mussels with cheese, butter and herbs. Sooooo good, coupled it with bread too. We also had the Chez Leon beer as well as "Georges" Pils. Everything was phenomenal! Then last week I came here again. We ordered the Mussels Provencale (butter, tomato, garlic, cheese), Mussels Beurre à l'ail Gratinées (butter, garlic, cheese, fine garlic) and the Waterzooi de Poissons (sole, salmon and monkfish). Washed the food down with Omer Beer and Chez Leon Beer. Can’t wait to try this again!

C'était une excellente expérience. La nourriture, l'ambiance, tout était très sympa. Le personnel a fait de grands efforts pour divertir notre fils de 1,5 ans. Food was tasty and kids eat for free! That is a great plus. Service was not good: not much English spoken, it took a lot of reminding to get the order and a baby chair, and a long time to get the food in .overall, it was an experience to remember and to talk about and food wasnt bad. If you go, be patient, don't expect a high standard and be able to deal with crowds

Had our obligatory moules et frites while visiting Brussels. We thought the version with butter and herbs was the best. Make sure to ask for bread to soak up the extra sauce. We also had the version with cheese which was also good, but a bit heavy. Service was very good and prices reasonable.

Restaurante en el centro de Bruselas acogedor con diferentes comedores , acabado en madera.Para ir con familia, en grupos..el trato del servicio muy serio, cortante pero correcto, la comida buena , probamos el estofado tipico de aqui de sabor bueno pero la ternera un poco dura ,tambien pedimos spagettis a la boloñesa y estaban bien. A resaltar que existe un menu infantil para menores de 12 años que es GRATIS si si gratis!!. Nota general :comida buena y sitio correcto.

Unica pecca i Vol-au-vent al pollo che reputo immangiabili.×
